These are not midfakes, luckily enough. These are being sold out of Hong Kong by a store named "Toy Hunters". The production codes match up and the quality is identical to older Hasbro products. Unlike midfakes, which are always sold brand new and in literal truckloads of pallets (~thousands), these ones have very limited supply (less than a hundred) and are dirty and broken, so it's likely old factory stock. The green BeyLauncher has an old Mani Limited (Hong Kong) import sticker that matches other products from around that time - midfakes have never had any type of import sticker.
Awesome! Thanks so much for the info and I'm glad they're original. I feel as though with the current situation on midfakes, some people jump into conclusions too quickly and that's why I was a bit hesitant to believe these were real at first.
I came to the conclusion that the aliexpress hasbro are totally original, but I still have my doubts about the Takara tomy NEW BOY, although they are of very good quality, the low price seems very strange (costing even less than the Hasbro ones) and the weirdest thing of all is that they don't run out of stock (not like HASBRO's Beyblades, there aren't many left)
The orange hasbro launcher and the chrome red hasbro launcher have that issue where the number code wasnt properly alligned, mine are at least my flat red string launcher has a more even printing
So I am curious how was the quality of the green launcher compared to your hasbro ones and in the end did it prove to be an original TT string launcher or a fake? Also did it loosen up since you said that the pull felt weird?
I have a genuine dark blue TT string launcher with the 2011 code on it. I’ve used lots of their launchers and they’re never perfect. They have a good smooth feeling but they can still seize up and feel weird from time to time.
Some midfake rubber parts is not really rubber and some of the parts that has rubber on the picture, has no rubber (missing) Also, some meteo l drago molds has no rubber on the red parts so it won't spin steal :/
Interesting development, I’m curious to see what a second lead test would produce as a result. I made a video myself about midfakes, specifically the “TT” Blue Wing Pegasus and it was pretty obviously fake in person and it did have the A0813 code. I’m wondering if the Hasbro midfakes are potentially better made or something
That could be a possibility. However I read the reviews that some people said the packaging seemed old but I'm still not 100% sure on that. I guess doing another lead test really confirms if it's fake or not. I mean if it is, I'll be extremely impressed on the factory that made these.
@@Utopiandranzer Yeah if they turn out to be midfakes then I would be extremely impressed as well the quality of the Earth Virgo looks very good. How much was the Beyblade?
I've done some research online and stumbled on Falco The Naga Blader's video about fake beys in bootleg hasbro packaging. He mentioned in a site that these beys have weird packaging and are shiny like fakes. One of the ways to identify is the kanji on the code card. If the kanji is gray it's real, if it's white it's fake. He knew this because he compared his real hasbro code card to the fake one.
From my recollection there hasn't been any confirmation of Bakuten Shoot midfakes. It seems to only be exclusive for metal fight. Daimyo D Digi did a video a few months ago that confirmed that midfakes have high concentrations of lead present in the metal wheel.
What do you think about "New Boy" and "SongKong"? I heard they are middle eastern import and their codes are 2010 and 2011. Same year as the ones from your video. Maybe all of these from 2011 are not midfake.
Midfakes arent really a real thing tbh. Theres fakes and real. What people often call "midfakes" are real licensed beyblades made in a differnt factory after TT stopped producing mfb and sold the licensing. The quality is lower but ultimately they are "real" a better word would be "shitreals" because they are bad quality real ones as opposed to good quality fakes
I actually disagree. The last digits of the code is the year of manufacture. Takara Tomy stop manufactured mfb beys in 2012. Factories were not suppose to make more afterwards. Also the other problem of midfake is that they are effective and the parts are very misleading. I actually bought a couple midfakes couple years ago as well as their legit counterparts that have the genuine packaging. I compared the Gold L-Drago Destroy of the midfake and the legit one. The molding is very different as well as the paintwork. Midfake: I noticed the paint was not as crisp as well as having some visible unfinished touches. I also noticed that the rubber parts had no rubber at all. It was plastic ffs. The sticker sheet was too obvious. Also, I have noticed that the metal facebolt had rust, which I remember that zinc does not rust that easily compared to other metals. And the design of the facebolt, I literally screamed “WTF IS THIS?!?!?” The facebolt looked like a goofy alien or puppy eyes L-Drago design. It was worth throwing away (didn’t pay that much) Legit: The paintjob was crisp, not a single sight of unfinished paint. The rubber part was legitimate rubber from the texture. The facebolt looked exactly like the one on the stickers.
@@meisteryune so what you're saying isnt that you disagree. You just said nothing relevant to you disagreeing? The arguement of superior quality obviously favors pre 2012 beys. But calling ones made after any kind of "fake" isnt right. The company making them has the licensing right and therefore they arent fake. It's like calling unlimited pokemon cards fake. They arent fake they just arent as nice. Midfake was a term created by someone who clearly struggles with English (probably a redditor)
@@NiceBoyAdam I misread the comment a bit. How do they have license rights if the company stopped manufacturing them still? I know that even unlimited pokemon cards are expected same quality as the 1st editions (heck there are some cards that don’t get a reprint).
@@NiceBoyAdam (Sorry for the late response) I looked up the year production on the beys from line-ups and it turns out the originals beys stop production in in 2012, where these ones (the one you don’t like to call “fakes”) were made in 2013. I still think they do not have the license to make them, since they officially stop production. Even though they did have the license I would still consider them false quality because the despite the beys being identical, I would have higher expectations for them to be the same quality as the original than buying from companies who lie to their consumers/buyers, especially with the fact that the beys contain lead that would not be worth buying.
Lol they aren’t midfakes, u would usually see extra plastic mold that wasn’t molded in right and looking fake and mostly with earth Virgo the bey doesn’t look fake like bruh come on now 😂😂
