    You asked for a comment so here it is. I just rolled 600 hrs on my Suzuki 250 2ss 2020 model. I fish 4 days a week because i love it and I'm retired, and my wife needs a break from me. So far, I have replaced 3 lower units because I live and fish on a 27,000 acre cypress tree forest. Lots and lots of stumps. Good fishing though. My guys at the boat shop are amazed that I have had zero motor issues. My guy at the boat shop has been selling Suzuki's for 4 yrs with only one warranty issue. That can't be good for the boat guys. Good thing he sells merc's. I have had two and won't own another. Great hole shots a good top end speed, i have had it to 73+ by gps. It's a 2000 203 ChampioN. Thanks to Andy for recommending the Suzuki and the 27 pitch prop.

    Great video Andy.....these are the best videos you do!! Love the on the water and prop testing videos. I run a 2019 520C / 250 Pro XS 4 stroke that I bought new and has 100 hours on it. With a true pitched 23 Fury 3 blade, Lithium batteries, power pole blades, and a ghost TM, I got 73.3 last weekend by myself, full tx load, and 3/4 tank fuel with a little more left in it. I'm guessing its a 74 gps boat. Instant holeshot and overall performance is great. I know a Ranger is not a fast boat but I am thrilled with the way mine performs. I run 3" bp for an engine height and I have absolutely no complaints with how mine performs.
    Keep up these type of videos....these and the shop life videos. Love em!!!!

    Nice....going to repower my 2009 Ranger 198vx sometime soon. Still running Evinrude Etec. Been a good engine so far. One replaced a fuel injector. But i rarely run my boat at WOT. Next engine will probably be Yamaha or Suzuki.

    I bleed the hydraulic steering in the 96 ranger today. It is almost ready for a run. Dumped about a cup of hydraulic fluid on my new carpet just as i was finished. Lol rebuilt carbs last week. This smoking beast is gonna haul ass. Cant wait to see 65 mph.

    Wish I lived near you! Repair shop near me couldn't diagnose a bad trigger on a 1995 75hp Mercury. They just told me the motor was worn out. Fixed it myself and it runs great, learned a lot and won't be back to that shop!

      very few shops have any sort of diag skills. I can't say how many new customers and happy people I have made where other places said new motor and all they needed was a 2-300 dollar repair.

    2016 triton 20 trx with 12’ talons, fully loaded 2 people. Not sure if i should get the 24 worked or try a 23 ???
    Any recommendations for a 4 blade for better hole shot ????

      Depending yes good point but and only saying this because I seen this guy go inches like 6 next to another boat for the shot he's been driving boats since he was 7 yrs old and was driving bass boats at age 12 and went 110mph at age 17 yes he probably should have it on but everyone around him is completely ok with it and he has asked all we appreciate your comment and concern thanks

    • @tdosoldier
      @tdosoldier Месяц назад

      It really doesn't matter how long you've been driving a boat. anyone could pass out, be hit or knocked out thrown from the boat and without that kill switch cord killing the motor it's going to make the whole situation worse. When the big motors runing you should always have your life jacket and kill switch on and connected. I care about y'all and others.
