I usually take inspiration from my build watching at Moxsy, but I really think you outclassed his Viessa video with this one, you got a better build using a more simple way. Loved it, can't wait to see your builds on other characters too!
Damn, never thought I'd ever be in the same sentence as Moxsy when I started doing content, guy does some fantastic work! 😅 I really appreciate the comment, thank you for the kind words!
I feel like skill insight is a miss on the module as you have 98% crit rate without it would probably use focus on singular or amplification control to max out the range
I will just add one thing, the damage reduction from DEF works on a tier system with diminishing returns. If you are not hitting enough DEF for the next damage reduction tier, then there is no reason to go higher than the previous tier, as it offers no extra reduction. In your case here, with 17,167 you are ever so slightly missing the next tier, which would be 17,183 for around ~38% reduction. With that said, you should try to squeeze those extra few points, or not work in the unnecessary excess DEF and just settle for the previous tier of 8742 DEF for around ~28% reduction, as that's the last tier upgrade you had anyway. For reference: 1941 DEF = Damage reduction ~10% 4059 DEF ~19% 8742 DEF ~28% 17,183 DEF ~38% 36,734 DEF ~49% 56,428 DEF ~55% 72,651 DEF ~59% As you can see, with the previously mentioned diminishing returns on damage reduction, the best tier to generally aim for is the 36,734/49% tier, anything above that requires insane amounts of work for very little extra return. Though, that itself will take some work too, and so the 17,183/38% tier is probably the one you will most usually use. Ofc, this all goes out the window for Ajax though, in whose case you will just want to stack as much DEF as is possible for his skill's scaling.

@SongsOfRazeYT I always look at guides from a distance. They look good on paper and the numbers are huge. But often they are glass cannons or uncomfortable to play. Especially with bossing builds, a little carelessness and that can happen quickly and you're dead. Hey there, if you're testing this in Albion, it doesn't show the extra from the red mod, but will update once you go to another area or the lab for testing 🙂
agree. her absolute zero build was already good before the buffs and it’s even better now. the only reason people called her weak is that she’s weaker compared to bunny and freyna, but let’s be real, who isn’t? those two characters are in a league of their own lol
@@nickeling2776 she still pales in comparison to bunny and freyna, and that’s okay. she doesn’t have to compete with both of them. she just has to be good on her own, and she is!
It would be the perfect set if the skills applied the frostbite status then did the damage, but unfortunately that wasn't the case for me when looking at sets. I do hope that gets looked at in the future, could be a game changer
If you're using Focus on Singular for the cooldown, then sure its a good swap in, but if you're doing for damage there are better options. The increase to modifier is so small due to the already high percentages she has, you won't see much of a return for the cost of the module slot. In all honesty, I'd rather go for more skill range than the 68ish% into skills starting at roughly 1k, 3k and 2k modifier, as even at 1k modifier it works out as a 6.8%damage boost, and gets lower for the other skills. Hope that helps show the decisions I made =)
@ being able to cast spells more often is a higher dps increase than the SPM it provides, just being able to do blizzard 3 sec earlier is a big dmg increase
a new pool of dmg.. good choice -- actually I have a gold crit rate reactor... so I dropped frontlines and now I can actually have 3-4 mods on the roll to choose from for diff content
Think it depends what you wanted more from the module swap. If you want more cooldown, then by all means, it's a good shout. The extra bit can cut off about 3 seconds on your skill 4, and about 0.4/0.5s on your skill 1 If it's for damage, keep in mind you're losing some crit multiplier there and replacing with skill power modifier, of which all your skills are high already. Take skill 1 for example which is just shy of 1k%, putting in 68% (top of my head, think it's about that?) into that will only be a 6.8% damage increase, and gets lower for the other skills. Skill 3 is near 4k% so would be roughly a 1.7% damage increase. Sorry for the essay 🙂 but wanted to put it all in perspective so you know how it'll benefit you. TLDR; if you want more cooldown then go for it, if you're trying for damage it's not close
Slayer is the best all and end all for damage. The skill power you get is huge, but the rolls on the gear for hp and such are underwhelming. You will be squishy because of it. A0 does have the utility to keep you alive though due to movement speed and frostbite As for Polar set, it would be a good set to use for her, possibly better than slayer IF you applied frostbite before the kill. As you can't do that, her 4 piece ability is null, so you won't see the buffs. If they change that, then absolutely it would be viable. Chill skill power and increases to crit damage? Sign me up!
Why no singular mod on the build? Just curious bc I have viessa fully built but I have focus on singular also and I’m trying to see if it would be a big difference to just replace it
So Singular mods will only add multipliers on top of what her skills already do, so for example Focus On Singular will add roughly 68% on top of her Skill 1 which was just shy of 1,000%. This would work out to be roughly a 6.8% damage boost, but gets smaller with her skill 3 and 4 having larger base modifiers 🙂 That said, you could add this in for the flex spot if you want some additional cooldown help. I've not had an issue with the skills due to the amount of time I spent with the build, but I'd completely understand others putting it in for theirs 🙂🙃 hope that helps
Interesting, not sure how that's possible 😅 haha! Are you running Absolute Zero as your mod? I know Cold Bloodedness gets high crit chance but not 100% with blue beetle help
@SongsOfRazeYT It’s not a mod error it’s Absolute-Zero itself.. I’ve noticed the same and plan on looking into it if I can, all the other crit mods are showing up but the base 20% from Absolute-Zero doesn’t show in my build or do anything lol It’s still 15% at base with Absolute-Zero equipped, I’ve already mid maxed Viessa she still kills everything easily tho but people should know about this bug.
Update, the 20% is only triggered when you are in the test room or a mission.. for some reason if you are looking at the critical data in Albinon it doesn’t show the change but the other critical mods do 😵💫 I figured it was just a glitch but it looks intended I think
@@herbertcoxe3601 My possible explanation for this is that Viessa's passive ability constantly checks whether something has been hit in order to trigger the orbs. But since Albion is a pacified zone, no checks are made there. The 20% crit is linked to the passive ability, not the mod, so it is not displayed in Albion.
I think I mentioned it in the video (apologies if not!) but with Absolute Zero making her a chill/singular, then she shares the perfect reactor with Hailey's bossing set up, so Crit Damage and Skill Atk Colossus would be the best in slot for colossus fights. The singular/crit damage reactor is best for the rest of the content 🙂
Are you checking your build in Albion? You'll need to head to the lab or to a location for the passive to trigger, then it should update to 100% 🙂 give that a try, and let me know!
@SongsOfRazeYT I had this problem as well and thought I search the comments before asking, going to the lab did the trick, 100% crit rate, thanks. Great video btw, you got yourself a new sub lol. Thanks again
Are you checking your build in Albion? You'll need to head to the lab or to a location for the passive to trigger, then it should update to 100% 🙂 that sorted it for others
It's not a terrible module to have, you can definitely slot that in with the flex spot if you want to worry less about MP. Personally I find there's plenty of Mp balls to use in runs so it's not needed, but you could absolutely run it if you prefer
dude is something wrong with the in game calculations? Im following your guide and it says I should have 100% skill critical hit rate but Im only at 46% and i put on all 4 crit mods
Are you checking your build in Albion? You'll need to head to the lab or to a location for the passive to trigger, then it should update to 100% 🙂 a few people reported the same then it worked for them
Great content as per, but...I have followed the same exact build to the letter and my SCHR is at 46.155% and I can't for the life of me work out why? any ideas bud?...(edit) ok my bad, I was looking at it in Albion...duh
Are you checking your build in Albion? You'll need to head to the lab or to a location for the passive to trigger, then it should update to 100% 🙂 give that a try, and let me know!
That shouldn't be the case, the skill power modifier on Iron Defence is so minor compared to the skill power modifiers she already has you'll see barely any damage increase. As S&S is pure skill power, it's not affected by her modifiers, so would be the 8.1% damage increase, plus what the multiplicative effect for skill power buckets, so nearer 10% damage increase. As Iron Defence gives 12.7% modifier, putting that on skill 1's modifiers would be only be roughly a 1.27% damage increase, so lower than S&S, and gets even lower as you use her other skills, being as low as 0.39% damage increase on her skill 3 Hope that helps =)
If only all guides where as good as this... Its a pain in the ass to find guides for this fucking game they never explain the important things and they just leave you there. My bunny build form a certain mox guy was awful i chamged yesterday from his trash guide and boom triple the fucking dmg smh
Damn, that's some praise, thank you so much, really means a lot! ❤️ Completely agree the game didn't really help with builds and understanding how it all works, it kind of relied on creators and others with time to invest looking into it all to help out in discords or social media groups. Your comment has just reminded me I need to revisit Bunny, haven't played her properly since like season 1, been having too much fun with other characters haha! Back to farming Catalysts I go! 🤣
Btw 100% crit isn't needed 95% highest since most crit resist is 5% or higher up to 60% or 40 forget which way is calculated lol at the new infernal walker
@@sebastian_blair6685 crit resistant is multiplicative, that is all, I have no idea what you are referring to but this is super easy to test and whatever tests you've watched, the only conclusion I can draw is that you don't understand what you are seeing. How about you go into colossi fights and just test, it takes all of 10 mins and that way, hopefully, you won't be confused. Like take any colossi, devourer if you want, that has a crit res of like 27% or 23% I can't remember, go have 50% crit rate and notice how you're not going to be critting 50% of the time. Literally the easiest test.
@angelus877 I had to look this up: "Each damage bonus or penalty is applied by multiplying the previous value by a set percentage." If this is how it works well, then thx. I love math and great ussaly at it but have trouble remembering things, so get stuff confused or backward or just weirdly done in my head. I probably misunderstood how they phrased it and got me thinking it worked a certain way in my head where the crit resist doesn't affect it if it's under the crit resist value and can't go over it 🫠🫠🫠 yea I just misunderstood and overthought everything lmao
The buffs were 2-fold, as Blue Beetle got changed from a 30% crit increase to a 115%, making it extremely easy to get 100% crit rate on a few descendants now, but also Absolute Zero as a mod got crit rate chance added to it's kit if you want the full patch notes you can find them here =) tfd.nexon.com/en/news/2694465
Unless u visited this other creator that has a bunch of tests and numbers done, i forget his name. Ur wasting that slot with the blue crit rate mod. All enemies have some sort of crit resistance, bosses have way more so having around 80% crit rate is the max u need.
@@nickeling2776 I know who he is referring to and yes, it is multiplicative, you can watch his video on crit res, in fact, 1min into that video he says as much (:
@@angelus877 You're right, I confused additive and multiplicative... it was late. 🤣 But he also says that more crit doesn't help because of the ceiling in his Hailey Video. So 95% is enough against mobs.
@ but this is still incorrect, if it was additive the ceiling matters but here it doesnt, if you want 95% crit vs something that has 95% ceiling you still need 100% crit of your own. If you have 95% vs a 95% ceiling you have 0.95x0.95 which is 90.25% crit. Gluttony has a 20% crit ceiling but you still need 100% of your own crit to have that 20% vs him, if you only have 20% then vs gluttony your actual crit would be 4%. Thats what multiplicative means
Call blood it is working great. I'm not a pure damage build and I'm still hitting for millions. If I changed my components and a mod or 2 I'm sure that number would increase quite a bit. Not really seeing your issues with not being able to cast an ability
I think I may have worded myself wrong in the video, as my previous Viessa build was a Cold Blooded build and loved it then. Both have their pros and cons, but for me I think A0 edges CB due to: - having all skills be Singular means you can boost damage to all skills with reactors, rather than choose 1&3 or 4 to boost - A0 comes with a passive boost to crit rate rather than relying on activating your skill 2 to get the boost - I found myself going for a duration mod with CB, which outside of her skill 2 only helped her skill 4 for extra hits Don't get me wrong 🙂 CB is still a great mod, but I have been converted after play A0 is all
I've got some things going on for her currently 🙂 planning on doing a video for 3 builds for her, rather than doing them separately, so got a bit of recording to capture. I'm hoping to have it done for Sunday all being well!

You've earned another sub my guy. This is second video I watched, and second time I really got hooked. Totally great job, can't wait for new uploads
You've made my day with that, thank you so much for the kind words 🙂 makes the effort put in worthwhile!
Good video, well spoken, organized. That's what we need.
Without a doubt, Viessa is now the Queen of DPS. I got a build just like this, and she makes short work of everything.

Hello, I have the exact mods you have on but I only have 46% critical hit rate could that be a visual bug?
Hey there, if you're testing this in Albion, it doesn't show the extra from the red mod, but will update once you go to another area or the lab for testing 🙂
@ I see it now thank you
I never thought Viessa was weak. And then they still buffed her. Awesomeness.
agree. her absolute zero build was already good before the buffs and it’s even better now. the only reason people called her weak is that she’s weaker compared to bunny and freyna, but let’s be real, who isn’t? those two characters are in a league of their own lol
@@daryllmoleta so is sharen now..... have you seen how those giga chad credit card gamers are flecing their ulti sharen? smapping her 4th on invations
@@daryllmoleta And that is exactly what they wanted to change.
@@nickeling2776 she still pales in comparison to bunny and freyna, and that’s okay. she doesn’t have to compete with both of them. she just has to be good on her own, and she is!
Pretty sure polar night set would be better for viessa than slayer as all her abilities will apply frostbite on absolute zero
It would be the perfect set if the skills applied the frostbite status then did the damage, but unfortunately that wasn't the case for me when looking at sets. I do hope that gets looked at in the future, could be a game changer
Slayer already gives the bucket you are talking about with spear n shield
It does trigger it, but Slayer is still worth the slot in here for DPS. More skill power, still means more damage =)
@ imo you get more out of focus on sing with the added cooldown as well. Not to mention that singular gets a .2 boost from reactor
Stop watching other RUclipsrs. An this is main guy I watch. Definitely. Knows his stuff
Cause of you I'm not watching this anymore
He’s good I also like Ryechews. He gets in depth and understands the numbers
Where’s focus on singular mod ?!
Question, would attack on colossi and crit dmg be a god role? Would that do more dmg on something like infernal worker or other colossi
Yes it would
👍👍👍 insane void boss hard two hits solo🤣🤣
Why am I not getting the 20% crit rate boost after putting A0 on? Base is staying at 15%. What am I missing?
Don’t check the stats in Albion, the passive is not active there
@ sick thanks. Wild that certain stat boosts don’t show, but I’ve made it habit now to do my builds in the Lab.
What if we drop emergency measure and put focus on singular?
a new pool of dmg.. good choice -- actually I have a gold crit rate reactor... so I dropped frontlines and now I can actually have 3-4 mods on the roll to choose from for diff content
Think it depends what you wanted more from the module swap.
If you want more cooldown, then by all means, it's a good shout. The extra bit can cut off about 3 seconds on your skill 4, and about 0.4/0.5s on your skill 1
If it's for damage, keep in mind you're losing some crit multiplier there and replacing with skill power modifier, of which all your skills are high already.
I replaced my components with Polar and other HP main stat comp. Is there a huge difference in damage with the Slayer set?
Viessa is so squishy.
Slayer is the best all and end all for damage. The skill power you get is huge, but the rolls on the gear for hp and such are underwhelming. You will be squishy because of it. A0 does have the utility to keep you alive though due to movement speed and frostbite
As for Polar set, it would be a good set to use for her, possibly better than slayer IF you applied frostbite before the kill.
This would work out to be roughly a 6.8% damage boost, but gets smaller with her skill 3 and 4 having larger base modifiers 🙂
That said, you could add this in for the flex spot if you want some additional cooldown help. I've not had an issue with the skills due to the amount of time I spent with the build, but I'd completely understand others putting it in for theirs 🙂🙃 hope that helps
Odd my setup is kinda similar crits and all but mine doesn't hit 100% max crit very confusing here lol
Interesting, not sure how that's possible 😅 haha! Are you running Absolute Zero as your mod? I know Cold Bloodedness gets high crit chance but not 100% with blue beetle help
@SongsOfRazeYT
It’s not a mod error it’s Absolute-Zero itself.. I’ve noticed the same and plan on looking into it if I can, all the other crit mods are showing up but the base 20% from
Absolute-Zero doesn’t show in my build or do anything lol
It’s still 15% at base with Absolute-Zero equipped, I’ve already mid maxed Viessa she still kills everything easily tho but people should know about this bug.
@herbertcoxe3601 thank you for your help
doesn't damage to colossus on reactor increase the dps even further? instead of critical damage
@SongsOfRazeYT Oh, great! Thanks, I was wondering if colossus damage was worth it.
Is singular boost ratio/critical damage gold both good for the build? I dont have anything with chill though :/
yes if you using absulote zero that is
Perfect set for this absolute zero build. Also doubles as a nice reactor for Hailey if you can't get a colossus ark roll 🙂
How are you getting to 100 percent crit rate? I just set up the same build and only get to 50 percent.
@SongsOfRazeYT Yep that was it. Had to be in the lab. Thank you everybody!
@SongsOfRazeYT Wow I didnt know that thanks a mill.
i set same modules on utl Viessa, but i can't get full 100% crit, what's the prob?
Are you checking your build in Albion? You'll need to head to the lab or to a location for the passive to trigger, then it should update to 100% 🙂 that sorted it for others
@SongsOfRazeYT yes, thank you, i also find the prob is me, LOL
No worries at all, it's caught a lot of people out, even made me panic for a second thinking I'd put out some bad info! 😅 Weird how Albion does that!
Emergency measures can be swapped out for amplification control or dangerous ambush. The extra crit rate is unnecessary
Do you not need mp collector?
Haha you beat me to it 🙂 glad it's sorted for you, appreciate the kind words!
Interesting my keeps showing me 44% cc
Are you checking your build in Albion? You'll need to head to the lab or to a location for the passive to trigger, then it should update to 100% 🙂
Did they patch it or something? I only get 46% crit hit rate with this build?
Are you checking your build in Albion? You'll need to head to the lab or to a location for the passive to trigger, then it should update to 100% 🙂 give that a try, and let me know!
@SongsOfRazeYT yes you are right, the passive 😁 I also found out that the Iron Defense mod is better version of Spear and Shield.
As Iron Defence gives 12.7% modifier, putting that on skill 1's modifiers would be only be roughly a 1.27% damage increase, so lower than S&S, and gets even lower as you use her other skills, being as low as 0.39% damage increase on her skill 3
Hope that helps =)
If only all guides where as good as this... Its a pain in the ass to find guides for this fucking game they never explain the important things and they just leave you there. My bunny build form a certain mox guy was awful i chamged yesterday from his trash guide and boom triple the fucking dmg smh
Damn, that's some praise, thank you so much, really means a lot! ❤️
Completely agree the game didn't really help with builds and understanding how it all works, it kind of relied on creators and others with time to invest looking into it all to help out in discords or social media groups.
Your comment has just reminded me I need to revisit Bunny, haven't played her properly since like season 1, been having too much fun with other characters haha! Back to farming Catalysts I go! 🤣
The Queen is still Hayley and yes I'm bias but she sucks for add
Running out of mana in season two.... Are we playing release day or what? 😂😂😂
Her 4th ability should have tracking on it because once a bunny comes true or a freyna it’s useless
Btw 100% crit isn't needed 95% highest since most crit resist is 5% or higher up to 60% or 40 forget which way is calculated lol at the new infernal walker
Thats not how it works, crit res is multiplicative
@ yes, it is, feel free to test.
Well saw somone that did hundreds of test unless I understood wrong your capped on crit rate and thus is off multiple people
@@sebastian_blair6685 crit resistant is multiplicative, that is all, I have no idea what you are referring to but this is super easy to test and whatever tests you've watched, the only conclusion I can draw is that you don't understand what you are seeing.
I cant See Anny patch notes for These Buffa. Can annyone explain me witch Buffs there are?
The buffs were 2-fold, as Blue Beetle got changed from a 30% crit increase to a 115%, making it extremely easy to get 100% crit rate on a few descendants now, but also Absolute Zero as a mod got crit rate chance added to it's kit
if you want the full patch notes you can find them here =)
tfd.nexon.com/en/news/2694465
Unless u visited this other creator that has a bunch of tests and numbers done, i forget his name. Ur wasting that slot with the blue crit rate mod. All enemies have some sort of crit resistance, bosses have way more so having around 80% crit rate is the max u need.
Thats not how it works, crit res is multiplicative
@@angelus877 It's not multiplicative. And he is referring to Vash.
@@nickeling2776 I know who he is referring to and yes, it is multiplicative, you can watch his video on crit res, in fact, 1min into that video he says as much (:
@@angelus877 You're right, I confused additive and multiplicative... it was late. 🤣
But he also says that more crit doesn't help because of the ceiling in his Hailey Video.
Both have their pros and cons, but for me I think A0 edges CB due to:
- having all skills be Singular means you can boost damage to all skills with reactors, rather than choose 1&3 or 4 to boost
- A0 comes with a passive boost to crit rate rather than relying on activating your skill 2 to get the boost
- I found myself going for a duration mod with CB, which outside of her skill 2 only helped her skill 4 for extra hits
Don't get me wrong 🙂 CB is still a great mod, but I have been converted after play A0 is all
@SongsOfRazeYT I got you... In that case I'll have to how it works out. Everything being singular would be kind of nice
Nah, I will just use Freyna 1 button kill 1 map, why even bother.
Sometimes its just fun to see big orange numbers on the screen =D
build sharen
I've got some things going on for her currently 🙂 planning on doing a video for 3 builds for her, rather than doing them separately, so got a bit of recording to capture. I'm hoping to have it done for Sunday all being well!
