@@boehmfarm4276 Farmers have been spreading Manure on their fields for decades, why is it that all of a sudden people are complaining about it now? Geez get a life
Used to spread a bit in the winter back when we had solid manure. Now that we’ve gone to liquid/slurry we really can’t do anything with it in the winter, pump freezes up. Anyway, looks like fun, good video.
Your BACK !! Kept logging on thought you'd gone on Holliday !!! Nice to see the old muck spreader going , reminds me of the old farmers muck spreading song . FLING IT HERE, FLING IT THERE , IF YOUR STANDING NEARBY YOU'LL ALL GET A SHARE 👍😜🇬🇧 Nice video Jacob thanks
Watching you guys brings back a lot of memories for me . Now everyone has past on and our farms have all been sold it was hard to see it all go but I really enjoy watching your videos even if your only slinging shit lol
We like having a smaller spreader for the winter. I guess it depends on the conditions. Its hillsides were we are at mostly with some ridge tops. Its nice having more tractor than spreader in snowy and icy conditions, IMHO. But another great video.
I miss that kind of winter work its not fun but its straight forward and easy to do if everything is working .. My diesel Mechanic in me says never try to save $$$ on filters and oil changes since thats cheap protection and to not do is more costly
I want to start bagging corn; I have a sewing machine, now I just need to get the dryer working, and maybe a grain cleaner. I already have a willing wholesale account inline. This year we are almost signed up for a nongmo beans contract, that was on the list. I am dying for more ear corn storage, but I really should be looking at hay storage, which I would build tall enough to dump a New Holland stacker wagon.
That 14 makes the spreader look tiny and your dad's making those loads count. Piece of advice, though, v-bottom spreaders don't work well for pen pack manure like that in my experience. Forked more than one load off in the middle of winter due to it getting sucked under the auger and jamming up. Snaps a #100H chain like a rubber band.
Mostly, we bed with wood chips and all too often in the summer, the manure is very wet. We'll just be careful with the scoops from around the hay feeders.
wow I am happy that I have to clean up my farm of all that junk we had here it did take a lot of choices but I did it most of the equipment when to and other parts of the farm that will sell the parks of the equipment that we part-out
6:00 Typical New Holland jack... screws "backwards" to what you would expect. That is, spins to the left to lower the jack and crank the tongue up. While a right-handed person can spin crank with more force to the right.
Boehm Farm lol its different in every province but here we are not allowed to apply manure or synthetic fert between nov 10 and april 10. Sometimes if its an open fall they extend the november date for another week
I hate to say this, seems you have a lot of equipment, yet none is looked after. Not sure if all USA farmers operate that way. In Canada, we would go broke in a few years if looked after our property and equipment like that,..
Love you man can maybe play fs17 Ik its the older version of farming simulator but its cool can u then download all the machines u have on ur real farm plz
This is true old-fashioned honest farm work.
This is what I remember from my youth.
I am 58 years old and I grew up on a farm.
It's the most honest way to live.

I miss the time you share with us. Thank you for what you do.
I know this sounds a little weird, But..... I just love the aroma of fresh cut hay AND Manure being spread on the fields from the farm
Hay is delightful, and dairy manure isn't too rank, but I Know we stink up the neighborhood when we spread manure.

Thats a good job for a cold day! I want a bigger spreader too. Almost to 20k subs!!
Love your videos and the little farm
Thanks like the video, on manure hauling .
14 to the rescue!! Make those rug-rats go to school! I like the farm manager part, good video Jacob.
The best fleet of IH i watch so great
Thank you
Was getting worried thought we were going to have to a send party to make sure you were alright
Oh, we're fine, just editing logistics.
You’ll have to start making Boehm farm t-shirts and hoodies next Jacob ;)
Yes, I am little working on that, making a logo and stuff.

But another great video.
I wish we had enough cold, frozen winter to worry about snowy hillsides.
great video as usual...rick boehm

I like spreading in the winter because there is usually less other, more important work to do than scooping poop.
Just curious, where are you hoping to take the farm in the next 5 years and what would you like to expand on?

I see the "farm manager" is there seeing that everything gets done correctly, be careful, don't want to make the farm manager angry...
Man the winter is a killer for farm videos
Milk cows 5 years I ran a 1466. International pulled a . Manure spreader .
You should unplug block heater before start up. Not doing so promotes cavitation.
I've heard that before, but I don't see how🤔🤔
Maybe conflicting electrical current when cranking over?
Love your vids 🇺🇸🇺🇸 and I live in Ohio to
Great video
Happy spreading!
Hi Jacob how is the Family glad to see a video but it looks like your tractor grew a beard . LOL , STAY SAFE
We're doing well, thank you.
i would put a weight on the 3 point hitch at the hydro, so it has more tractor when doing loader work
What happened to Brad don't see on your videos anymore another good video
He'll be around. We're a little less busy in the winter.
U ever give a thought to keeping sows fattening Holstein can o my take u so far
That farm manager looks pretty strict 😂
Love this video

National farm machinery show
Unfortunately, it's not fitting into the schedule well.
Glad you are back ,u must get alot of traffic down you're rd?
Too much traffic for it being one lane.

great vid :)
How much harvest did you get done haven't heard from you in awhile.
You'll be seeing those videos soon.
If you’re getting the rain that we are getting down here, your next video will feature your new ark.
hahahaha, yeah, I feel the wetness.
We have a spreader kinda like that, I think it's a model 185, and it has 2 axles (tandem).
They are fine poop flingers.
Haha yea, I can't wait to start ours agian in a few weeks
Hi your international sure looks plenty big enough for that spreader what hp is it 😁
145 or so
Do you get harvest done before the snow came
The real question is will we finish before spring....
Nice
Starter solenoid is getting bad, my 1066 is doing the same
It missed filming, but replacing the block heater had jostled a wire loose on the alternator.
Is it good heating in the 1466 ?
Why would I need heat when I am wearing all those layers? Heat comes off the transmission, and being out of the wind is very delightful.
Ever have much problems with the manure being frozen!
I have spread manure that was in big, frozen slabs and it exited the spreader without issue, except it was in a big chunk.

Thanks for reply back,
I'm just worried about breaking my equipment
We dont have any animals anymore but my neighbor gave us 2 tons of horse manure for free
👍👌🇨🇦❤
Hi. Whats the song at the end?
Where's the videos of the new truck in action this last fall
There will be videos of it in action for the first times this winter.
How’s harvest ?
There's some more video of that coming. Still some corn left, and not enough clear skies at night to freeze the ground.
Yup I got 4 farm managers lol
You must be running nitrous oxide toward the end!
I see you caught that slide across the driveway.
You need bob cat easy to move around in side barn
Jessie Blanton if you get a skid steer get a JCB teleskid, I had nothing but trouble from bobcats
How are the pigs doing
Eating, pooping and growing.
the 1466 sods like a dodge
Well, it's a straight six with a turbo and no muffler. But no bent frames here.
Here in manitoba it is against the law to spread manure in the winter
Good thing this isn't Trudeau land.

i got a mint 1466 wish i could show you
Is it the one in your profile picture???
i think its time for a 4wheel drive dont you
Yeah, I'm thinking something like an FW-60 Ford.
