Yeah man being out of position or "Not keeping the shape" is a big deal in Football. One guy being out of position usually means another guy has to cover for your spot which leaves his original position exposed unless there's another teammate that cover for him. If not then usually there's a huge gap of space left for the attacking team to exploit which usually leads to big chances for them to score.
Yea pen and set piece takers are decided and game planned all week. Whether you were the player who drew the foul or not, F your feelings and give the ball to the guy your manager assigned
free-kicks (or penalties) are generally taken by the designated player (depends on the position for a free-kick), but it happens often that players have a chat about who is gonna take it, but there's no reason you should argue over who is taking it, back in the day i never saw Roberto Carlos, Ronaldinho and Juninho argue about that, but nowadays they all want the fame and/or the numbers (including the money from penalty bonuses)
I also hate how they fight over Pens! Especially Brazilians, Portuguese and English players they love penalties more than winning the World Cup these days😂
most of the time, the penalty thing is the players debating if the best pen taker should take it or if the player who got fouled should take it yall may think that obviously the best taker should take it, but this aint basketball, most players' penalty success rate vary a lot, just because the star player takes it doesnt mean they WILL score (same as how jst because the worst pen taker takes it, doesnt mean that he will miss) and also, sometimes, penalties are also seen as a given goal, and most players feel confident that they are able to score, so giving the pen to the person who was fouled is a common option

They want to take the penalty to have one more goal to the statistics its also ego because the best shooter is taking it but like in PSG Neymar Mbappe and Messi all alpha dogs so it's like showing " who's boss " but the manager supposed to choose before the game so if the players fighting ovse it so it means of poor manager that can't handle stars and prefer not to choose sides so he's just like " ill let them figure it out my hands are clean "
