    His book True and False is absolutely amazing. I read Stanislavski and found it very appealing but Mamet demystifies the art of acting and puts it’s simply. Also a fun short read pick it up.

    The only think I don't like of truly great playwrights is that they think that actors are puppets... but still whatever he is a pretty strong figure

      I think you make a good point though, because as a writer you have to in a sense be unafraid to do anything with and to your actors. I could see a correlation between the courage to do anything with an actor and seeing them as a puppet.

    but many kids sacrifice them selves, by eating up all the dirt in hollywood, they consider it a challenge

    Mamet does not like all the jews messing around and making light of so many matters that could be addressed.get out of the gutter and climb the mountain once or twice, before you marry tv or hollywood.
