Sir , you said , tear down time - it is the time taken to free resources. And efficiency is less - Since circuit switching is reserving bandwidth even when they are not sending data. So, when they are freeing resources then why efficiency is less ?Pls explain this clearly , if I misuderstood something ?

Thank you for sharing for your knowledge, learnt a lot. As usual a student after listening to a lecture have a question , it's on SETUP.
If T1 wants to talk to T5 in your diagram and the voice data has no headers, how does the Circuit/Telephone Exchange knows which path to follow for connecting T1 & T5?
If the path is already there then how does the system decides which one to pick?
