I saw some of these stocks running for about 199 to 399 I have to ask with other stocks of similar design starting at $700 do you feel that these are better than a standard hardwood Remington 700 stock? I've got a very repeatable Remington 721 in 270 Ackley and I'm considering ditching the 1953 stock when I upgrade my barrel just curious to know if I can get out of it cheaply or if I need to invest in something like an nvg chassis system
@@HuntinTheWest awesome.. i see a BDL Long action option on their site... but if you select it there is no option for the M24 barrel. In order to have that barrel option you have to select the M5 long action. Is this what you did?
@@thatoneguythatscrolls no. I believe the stock in the review has been discontinued and has an update. AG Composites is going through some transition and I am not sure where you can purchase them as of right now. I believe they intend to sell directly from their website which is under construction.
@@thatoneguythatscrolls Sorry, I do not. If you are in need of a great stock right now I would suggest the Mesa Precision Arms stocks. You can get them straight from them or from Redhawk Rifles. I will be reviewing one soon. So far I like it a lot.
I have one in the western viper camo pattern and it's not rough feeling at all..😊
What are your thoughts on this stock now ?

Do you want to sell it?
How would u compare to the new AG composites
I have a few stocky s the green and tan finish is fine it's not that rough it's the same as my b@c stock
gabemazing they changed the finishes based on feedback. I can assure you my tan one was nothing like the finish on a B&C.
Where did you get the stock dipped? Looking for mine to get dipped.
Black Ice Coatings. Lee is great to deal with.
Did you have to inlet the stock or barrel channel at all to fit the CA?
Did you use the Ca bottom metal? Was there any mods for that area or did it bolt right in
I did use CA bottom metal. I did have to grind down the mag box so that it was not pinched between the action and bottom metal.

@@HuntinTheWest good to know. I know youve done couple of these. Do you have any that are ready for a ridgeline long action you would sell?

Any thoughts on comb hight? I know the manners is quite a bit higher than the McMillan game scout. Where does this land?
It’s near identical to the EH1.
