I really don’t understand the negativity regarding the Demio. Have you all forgotten what Gran Turismo is about? It’s about having a large diverse range of cars from cheap hatches to supercars and race cars. It’s nice to have cars like the Demio added because it’s a regular every day car that anyone can obtain unlike the Aventador SV for example. So please stop been so snobby when low N class cars are added because maybe some of us are glad to see them.

Being one of the best-selling cars here in Colombia, that has to say something about how good the Mazda 2 is (or Demio or whatever its name anywhere in the world). Sure, Colombia isn't the biggest nor greatest country but still, it should be an indication of its success. As for my take on the joke, it's not really for how good/bad the car is. It's because being a ton of sport, super cars available, Polyphony had to choose a family hatchback. Not really sure if that's what the big majority of us GT lovers would have choose.
I believe every update has one car that truly defines it as a whole....and the DEMIO really stole the show for this one. This little diesel bug saved this update despite efforts from a lumbering Italian credit-pit, another "exciting" car trapped in the Gr. X realm, and some french track hosting an old german race car. What can we expect to release along side Jaguar's VGT car? My money is on the Toyota Yaris GRMN! We can finally see these titans racing down some "corkscrew" turn in the US. Thanks for the great reviews on the update, keep up the awesome work!
I'm glad to see the demio return in some form. I sometimes started with it in GT3 and with a little tuning it was quite effective for kicking off my playthrough
If you wanna drive this car as fast as you can you will have to shift at 3800rpm. The most power and boost is between 3000 and 4000rpm and you really suffer if you shift to late

Eunos if you know this car is dissel but not the fit has a hybrid engine the demio has a skyactive engine has just like other mazda cars like the roadster and the atenzena
This is probably the most useful car from the update because the Lamborghini is too expensive for what it is, the Taycan is gr.x and, the Red pig ain't that fast.
I did a rapid little N200 rally build instead, since it was nowhere near fast enough against my other N100 and N200 tunes. Like 5+ seconds slower at least
I think the hate comes from the fact that we get something like the Demio before cars that are more requested like the Silvia S15, the Escudo, NASCAR or some DTM.
Remember were talking about the GT community, no matter what cars will be added everyone will cry and complain the cars added arent they ones they personally wanted, so imo iam glad Polyphony dosent give a damn and just adds what they want and in the order they want.
They need to have a permanent fixed mx5 series (or any road car) with a world tour of ALL the tracks the way iRacing does instead of recycling the same tired A and B races every few weeks... Ive only played 4 months and its already repetative with the same car/track combos repeating again and again.

Please stop apologising for the rubbish addition to this update. I'm sure you're just trying to do the right thing but this car is just a waste of memory space. Maybe they shouldn't have given us Spa as a track update rather a completely new track that takes you to the supermarket and back.
It's not so much 'apologizing', it would be a perfectly reasonable car to have in the lineup of a traditional GT game. The thing is - this isn't supposed to be a traditional GT game.

I for one welcome the return of our Demio overlord.
I wasn't really excited for this car until I found out it has a diesel. And it's got decent power and a lot of torque for something so light.

They should give us the option to choose the manufactures engine options, the 1.5 skyactiv engine is quite a fun motor and would be great in the game

Amd the mazda 2 gets its peak power at 4k, you shouldnt be revving it to 5k, the best shifting spot is at a little over 4k

If you drive this car in the game, then change to the mazda mx 5 old version, you really respect the mx 5 even more.
