Job market most of the time is limited only if you don't speak the language. It's pretty basic: if you go to live in some other country for longer period of time, you have to learn the national language if you intend to stay and want to find a job, and it applies not only for Lithuania. I am Lithuanian and for the last 6 years I myself have been living in another European country; I realised how language is also such a big part of even understanding the culture at its core, so it always pays off to try learning it. Not to mention that it's also a way of showing appreciation and respect to locals. It would also partially solve the problems of feeling the lack of community and loneliness, as you'd definitely find more friends and minds who think alike. Good luck! 😉
Yeah, the job market should be harsh with only English alone. I would say probably only IT does not require Lithuanian or require very little of it. But IT is hard to get in, because they look mostly for experienced people and there issint that much junior positions available and if there is a lot of them require Lithuanian as well, because smaller companies tend to use software that is translated in Lithuanian, so this limits the opportunities. I noticed that a lot of foreigners work in food delivery sector and some work as taxi/Bolt drivers. I guess transportation/delivery sector could be viable option if you have a driver license, the pay there is OK, DPD drivers earn around ~1000-1200e/month although the work load is high, working in their logistic warehouses might be an option too, because a lot of stuff is automated, if they use bar code scanners (majority of the companies do), language shouldn`t be the top priority in those positions. I would suggest contacting the recruitment companies, most of the companies look for workers through those recruitment companies anyway, so there might be a lot more options available if you look for work through them. Also students usually cant work for 8 hours/day, so their options are restricted, most of the companies look for full time workers. There is also an option to have extended study, this allow people to work and study in exchange for longer study agreement. I don`t know about foreigners, but it should work the same as well. Usually the lessons in university are held in the evenings, some of them eventually turn in to remote studies via internet. I guess 6 years should be reasonable for a student, you needs 3 years for bachelors (If I remember correctly :)) and another 3 for masters degree and here is your 6 years of residency.

The average rent is starts at around ~350euros/month, couple that with a heating bills and other bills and you are looking at ~450euros/month. That is half of the average monthly salary. You can forget owning a car, or saving up enough money for better tomorrow. The times are harsh, even though some statistics look not bad compared to the rest of the EU. Its all due to political standing, frankly speaking, we got incompetent people in our government, people that seem to be thinking either for themselves only, or they might be working for someone else rather than their own people. Thats how thing look from the standing of majority in society. Well things will have to change, its inevitable. Lets hope for better.

But if you are coming with your wife they might make an exception if your bank statement can cater for the baby incase you're not able to work. Hi already completed my studies but yes there are schools like KTU and VGTU in Lithuania where they have courses like Chemical Engineering, definitely check them out.
Application to issue/change the residence permit (electronically through the Lithuanian Migration Information System MIGRIS); Valid travel document (passport); A temporary residence permit (when it is being replaced); Documents confirming the ground for issuance of temporary residence permit; A document proving sufficient amount of funds for subsistence and return (a bank account statement, a work contract, or proof of their ability to support themselves financially. Sufficient amount for a month is equal of minimal wage in Lithuania. In 2022 it is 730 EUR, from 2023 it will be 840 EUR) There should be enough funds for the whole time of validity of a TRP or at least for one year; The undertaking that foreigner will declare her/his place of residence in Lithuania; Certificate regarding (the absence of) a criminal record. NOTE: criminal record is valid for 6 months. Foreigners who come to work as highly qualified employees can submit a statement written by themselves confirming that they do not have a criminal record; Health insurance; Documents confirming legal stay (f.e. visa) if application is submitted in Lithuania. Job market is only limited if you study something nonsensical. If you study IT for example, you'll have no problems. But of course, in most places, to work, you will need to know Lithuanian language.

Very good Question my dear. The uninterrupted is that you have not stayed outside of Lithuania for more than 1 year ans you did not renew your permit to a viss during those 5 years. So if you get a Visa because you were in another country to come in back to Lithuania, your count starts afresh.

Yes, that's exactly what it means.some people a visa is 3 months, 5, or 1 year it depends.But it's not counted
