    Your videos are so helpful. I hope you do more and give us some feedback on how things are going with your flipped classroom now that the school year is in full swing.

    The extension activities are so clever! It sucks to just have to do more problems if you're done early.

      Right? It’s like being punished for getting something!

    Just found your videos. I am a 6th grade math teacher and going to try the flipped classroom this school year. I have watched all of your videos and I know they are from a year ago, but I’m just curious about grading and how you handle that. Thank you.

    Do you have the etsy link for your lesson plan template? I have a happy planner and would love to add that in.

    Do you see any way to do a no tech flipped classroom? A lot of my students have no computer access or no internet at home, but I love the idea and would love to try it!

      That would be difficult, but depending on the subject it could work! I could see with history/English/science getting away with light reading and short question activity at home and then a fun engagement in class. For math I think that would be near impossible because they need to visually see instruction of problems!

    When would the kids who didn't do their notes do their notes ?

    • @acutemathclass2739
      @acutemathclass2739  3 года назад

      I have them do it after I do the opening/recap. That way they’re seeing my re-teaching so they’re exposed a little in class and then they go get a computer and do the original notes during the time other students are working on practice activities!

    Can I assume that you have 45-minute periods instead of 90-minute blocks?

      Why you assumed that ?

    Hello! Can you explain what your openings on different days are? (I heard you mention each one has a catch name) Also, how do you grade in your room? What all do you collect?

    Hi Thanks for the detailed video! If you could model how you make your video note video and a detailed video note sheet that goes along with it that will be great. Also, on the side note I really like your hair , how do you keep them looking so nice all week…please share😊

      So the students pick two die to roll and they write the number down that they see! So I’d they roll a 4 and a 6, they write down 46. If they roll a 12 and an 8, it’s 128. Then they simplify!

    How long are your periods/ Blocks? Do you have your kids year round or semesters?
