They look great. When I saw the wood and resin pieces on the molds I thought those would make really nice pens. I'd buy a couple 💜

The bullet is the projectile. You’re working with the empty cases.
The concept of a resin and burl bullet is interesting. The finished necklaces are beautiful.
The brass is so beautiful that there are a lot of people using it to create jewelry. I’ve even seen rings and earrings made from just the bottom of the case with the caliber showing. The most interesting item by far is the flower sculptures that use recovered fired mushroomed bullets.

Nick am thinking of trying to make a small coffee table as a tester to see how I get on. Do you ever give advice on what resin to use. If you do it in a phone. All of WhatsApp or messenger any help would do. I’ve been a joiner all my life so am thinking of making tables.

they are blank cartridges, not bullets; bullets are the things that sit inside the cartridge. Also, double-check the primer before drilling into it; if it's flat, it's liable to go bang. Also wear a mask, and wash your hands with fairy liquid directly after, some of the primers contain lead azide which is not safe for you.

big massive tip once polished do not let any females touch the brass, the oestrogen in their fingers etches the brass, and ruins it, we did a study at a old peoples home in Nottingham where the old land girls had their fingerprints taken, we matched up the cartridges and shells they had cleaned and polished in the second world war at Chilwell Ammunition Depot.

Nick you can remove the primers from the inside with a narrow punch a whole lot easier then drilling them out, also they make a pair of pliers that are rounded on both sides almost all the way to the pivot point coned shape both sides so you can make rings repeatedly of any small size, I think they may have been originally designed for closing chain links

    • @Whoozerdaddy

Those cases likely have Berdan primers, rather than Boxer, so you can't just use a punch to de-prime them. They're easier to just drill out.

The primers can be quite easily punched out. No need to drill them. Reloaders have do it with specialty dies but any punch of a proper size would work.

Instead of drilling out the spent primers, you could use a deprimer tool to just pop them out cleanly. …it’s basically just a punch.
…and as other have pointed out, those are empty cases, not the bullets that were fired *from* the cases. 😉

There are no bullets in this video, real or otherwise. Those are empty cartridge casings from FIRED blank cartridges that never contained a bullet.
