Yall need to hit up the Drunk as shit tour and check out Crobots rig, they got some mad crazy gear. bishops space ship pedal alone is worth the look. they are mad talent and deserve more looks. same for the other bands on the bill, Mothership and Wilson. get on that noise. they deserve more publicity
gotta vary the vocabulary. if you use awesome or amazing all the time. you got nothing left when you see something truly awesome. its like jesus will descend from the heavens playing both necks of a double neck guitar wearing sunglasses and youll have to sit their like sorry jesus i have no words to describe this moment because i already used amazing and awesome on this generic brand frozen pizza this morning for breakfast. and by branching outside the usual vocabulary and turning back the clock a little bit might just brighten someones day enough to get through. toss the man a sick gnasty gnar or a most excellent or triumphant and your got yourself a bodacious arrangement of vernacular salad to add to the pot. just trying to spice up the day. and instead i wrote a novel hahaha.
Great rundown (as usual), even if they aren't a band I can appreciate. That Les Paul GT, and the carved top SG are great. JB had me rollin' with the comment he made, too. >X-D
One way to make that a little more interesting is maybe ask how it's set up, is it set up by song? Clean/crunch/heavy/solo? Switchable effects? If so what pedals or sounds were you basing those off of? Where do you use these in the set? Etc... You could make it a little more intersting And I get a lot of times they're rushing because it's happening during sound check, but maybe if they've gone the modelling route delve into it just a bit like you would a normal board
i'm not defending hinder on musical merit but, if you're getting the sound you want out of your rig, then there's no good reason to switch it up. however, i don't know that i would ever want to get that sweet hinder tone. ;)
+jack ringca hinder blows but i'm not going to fault them on getting their tone with the gear they have. It doesn't make a good feature for a Rig Rundown, however.
I don't think this gut knew the answer to a single question without asking his tech. This is such a great idea and I can't believe that bigger bands don't offer their time, either by the musicians or the techs. Nashville and Cedar Rapids get enough big bands to do this with much more interesting rigs.
If they are gonna go direct, They should at least have like a 2x12 on stage for some stage sound. The fans in the front row will only hear drums. Going direct is easier and can save time when setting up on stage but there is always downsides to going direct.
Your guys watermark overlaps the logo a little weird. maybe tell your editor not to show the logo or get rid of the watermark in the beginning. Just looks a little wonky.
Please tell us what kind of in-ear-monitors folks are running. That's a huge part of a musician's rig!
That Les Paul GT and that SG are extremely awesome.

Never trust anybody who uses "mad" as an adjective

+100, my hometown boys. Their gear would be refreshing
Awesome ! just got through touring the states with these guys & Whitesnake.
Kiana Shotgun =)
Seen these guys live and they can rock! Great rig rundown.
Definitely and this guy has some of the best guitar sounds
All these Slash-protégé purists...meanwhile Hinder is like "WHAT PICKUPS DO I HAVE?!" Love it
I have no idea the difference between Hinder and Buckcherry.
tMattLZ then you must be deaf because even if you dont like them their sounds are incredibly different from one another
tMattLZ lol

Dropping by just because I booked this band back in college. At that time they used Mesa Boogie guitar and bass amps. Triple Rec's if I recall.
It's always weird seeing musicians that don't care much about the details of their tools to each their own I guess.
hah totally missed john's rundowns. he's warm and awesome!
has anyone ever said, "man, i really want to know how to sound like hinder"?
+Calvin Lee lol
me.
Never heard of them before this. I like that they are thinking outside the norm. It is what can move us forward. Great IView John as usual.
The play that "lips of an angel" tune.
Amp sims, I get for touring bands but man... They make for a boring Rig Rundown haha
Chad Van Oostendorp All right why don't you show me what you're using ....Axe-FX.....Great well thanks for your time.

A bunch of new production guitars and Axe-FX. Oh yeah, also, it's Hinder. Skipppppp
MuscleDad420 Its not even Ax-Fx its out dated eleven rack i know 16 year olds who know more about gear than these dudes.

65 million video views and I've never heard of em
Remember "Lips of an Angel"? That's it.
Nobody's perfect.
You guys should do a Shakey Graves rig rundown
This guy rocks i wish they would get Austin in shape and get back together
Premier Guitar It would be interesting to see a Rig Rundown of the band Circa Survive
"Hinder are so egregiously dull they appeal not to fans of music, but fans of high fives."
If they are gonna go direct, They should at least have like a 2x12 on stage for some stage sound. The fans in the front row will only hear drums. Going direct is easier and can save time when setting up on stage but there is always downsides to going direct.
11:55 I could have sworn at the first glance that it was the Gibson Slash model.
couldn't make it past the eleven rack in the intro....
marvel harris Yep! I'm outta here!
Your guys watermark overlaps the logo a little weird. maybe tell your editor not to show the logo or get rid of the watermark in the beginning. Just looks a little wonky.
I didn't know hinder was still a thing lol
Try Paramore for the next rig rundown
John did a great video with PG as always. SUPER disappointing "guitarists" though.
yeah man... those flames on the les paul are very "rad"....... lol
Cameron Conyer > Hinder
