It was amazing to see Ramin sing classics from several of his shows! They were so much fun with their banter. It was an amazing night. I posted so many because it was hard to choose, sadly they could only do 2 shows. Ramin is currently in Funny Girl. I bet he signs on to do one of Seth's Broadway cruises again.
@@azvascos7542 I have been a huge fan of Ramin's for years now, but sadly I've never been able to see him live in either concert or production. Someday! This is one of my faves- I remember seeing him do an abridged version on a Japanese chat show years ago when he was doing "Evita" there, and the full length does not disappoint. He's a masterful blend of beautiful voice with complete understanding of the lyrics.
@cuchelo1 We flew to NYC to see him in Anastasia before he left for the West End for another show. He had me crying he was so powerful and poignant when he sang Still. They pretended to auction him off after the show. He ripped off his shirt to show his buff arms with tattoos. It was quite a treat! He also turned the gun to his head at the climax of the show, and the audience let out a collective gasp. Then he stage doored and was the nicest guy ever. Derek Klena missed that show, so we had to fly back 3 months later to see him before he left!
@@azvascos7542 I'm both wildly jealous and supremely happy for you, lol! Always nice to hear from ppl who've seen him in person, though, so I know my adoration is not misplaced...😍
Other performers have forgotten lyrics: there's a hysterical video of The King (Elvis Presley) adlibbing the words to a song (Are you Lonesome Tonight) in a concert because he forgot them. Mr. Karimloo handles it will humility and a wry, self deprecating sense of humor.
I edited out part of this because he restarted. This was the first of two shows he did while having a weekend off from Funny Girl so it wasn't like they had much rehearsal time either. The two performers were having fun teasing each other all night. I bet Elvis was really upset forgetting lyrics, I can only imagine, I will look for that.
@@azvascos7542 Actually The King couldn't stop laughing. You can usually find it under "Are You Lonesome Tonight" and add the word "bald." When I need a good laugh, I always look for that song. Legend has it that after the performance, Elvis had his staff seek the person out and gave him a special autograph.
It was my phone! I'm also the one who was trying to give him the Evermore lyrics earlier that night. The show was hilarious & brilliantly entertaining! I adore him & his talent!
@AZ Vascos I'm sure they're happy you're posting!! Posting is basically free advertising for future shows. People will keep an eye out for them after seeing these, hahaha.
@@azvascos7542 Ramin was supposed to do the Playbill cruise, but bowed out. Expect because of Funny Girl. Not that I'm against cruises, but they are very expensive - the Playbill cruise was $5-6K for one person and you had have double occupancy.
Every time I hear him sing a song I’m like “We need a production of that with Ramin in it!” Truly an amazing talent!
He was Che in Japan. I would love to see him perform this show as well. He truly is a Roaming Iranian as his youtube account is aptly titled.
I was the one who suggested this song 😂😍 I was so happy he sang it, even with the lyrics slip-ups at first
Love it when Ramin sings this song!! One of my favourite shows and he is the best Che. Thanks for posting!
His personality flows off the stage into the hearts of his audience, just like his talent does❤️
We met him stage dooring, he was just as nice as can be to everyone!
@@azvascos7542 me too! When did you meet him?
@@randomaccount3119 His closing weekend in Anastasia in December 2017. He changed his closing scene a little too that show and it was sooo good!
Love that he took a selfie with that person’s phone. So sweet!
I'm so grateful he did! He is so amazing, generous & kind!
Thank you so much for posting all these- what an amazing night!

@christinewells-leddon9287 Glad he could have fun with it, I will find it. I grew up listening to Elvis, he's wonderful!
@@azvascos7542 For my parent's generation (and much of mine) he was The King.
@christinewells-leddon9287 I saw the video, Elvis changed the lyrics for fun a guy took off his toupee and rhe King couldn't get it together after.
Thanks for posting these!
懐かしい:)
初めて見たミュージカルがラミンがチェ役のエビータでした:)))
We saw him as Gleb in Anastasia and met him after. He is a wonderful person. I would love to have seen him in Evita, and also see Japan!
Is he reading the lyrics off his phone 😭
Edit: it’s not even his own phone lmao he was really having a hard time with lyrics that night
I was wishing Hadley could see Ramin forget the words for once!
