What's the price difference between the MSA 300 and the Kress 60v?

So I'm after a 500i for.bucking firewood arb waste around 150 bulk bags a yr I've been told to look into this kress commercial as an option because of noise as I cut at home on my driveway in reality do you guys think it's an option my loads come in 36 to 48 inch lengths ish a full transit tipper at a time could this cut a truck load 2 cuts per length off truck without keep stopping for charging up or do I just get the 500i

Noise wise for cutting at home the Kress will definitely be better. With a couple of batteries you should be able to keep cutting fairly constantly. The price is where the biggest difference will be - Saw + batteries + charger will end up over £2k where as the 500i should be around £1.3k. Running costs could eventually make up for the initial difference in price but you would have to work it out based on your variables. I would say its worth doing an in depth analysis.

@gorillagroundsandgardens suppose it all depends on warranty and how good back up is for them at 10 quid per 5l of mixed fuel ish would take some amount of cutting to make up 750 quid plus in extra cost

@gorillagroundsandgardens no idea on servicing costs for 500i but I very much doubt the kress will be a non service item for warranty alone time to find the dealer I think

Battery saws have a lot less components than need a service. Will still need things like sprockets, bars and chains though.
