This stock is not for retail investors. This stock is white elephant. I scanned many mutual funds, with high holding of HDFC, are laggard with high margin in the 3-5 years return. Now in every scenarios, this stock will remain laggard in coming years.

Sirji ek doubt hai. Abhi Wale profit me hdfc ka profit included hai, is liye zyada dikh raha hai. Jab ki EPS flat raha hai is quarter me. Aise case me sahi KPI kaunsa dekhna chahiye.

Vivek Bhai, the biggest problem with HDFC is its Credit Deposit Ratio which is 110%. This is way above RBI guidelines. If they have to bring it to the levels of 85% , the Credit growth will slow down drastically and profits will stagnate. for 8 to 12 quarters, profits may remain stagnant. This is the real cause of fall. Now Govt has asked LIC to pump money into HDFC stock, which can jack up the stock price. But stock has lost the growth momentum.

Look at the amount of supply that has been generated at every level now in hdfc bank ...it will need huge volumes to even reach it's previous top levels now...there are hundreds of stocks in the market ...it's best to be practical in stock market ...but it's better to hold now if ones caught at the wrong side at the top as the losses would be too big now and there's no other choice...
