Ignatiy is so fantastic. I discovered Raul Ruiz back when this episode came out because of his review of "Mysteries of Lisbon." That also led me to a great appreciation of the music of Luis de Freitas Branco, whose symphonies were used extensively in the soundtrack of the film.
Loved Christy on this show, the other guy not so much. Would love to see the episode where they review Film Socialisme and she demands he explains why it is good lol For those who don't know, Christy is now on Breakfast All Day, a film review RUclips / podcast with her former What The Flick companions.
Just dead on network television. It’s still kicking around in various forms online. Although nothing could recapture the magic that was Siskel and Ebert.
Christy and Ignatiy? (let’s just call him the other guy) did not have any on screen chemistry, did not enjoy watching these two talk about film together. Was just waiting for Roger’s segment, his opinion was the only one I was really interested in tbh.
In The Human Centipede 2 the pervert watches Human Centipede 1 on video and has the EXACT SAME reaction I did when the asian guy in the front gets...stomach problems... Very disturbing.

Love the new TV. What a group of heavy pics!
This also reminds me that the last movie Ebert reviewed was Terrence Malick's to the Wonder.
Oh no lmao

If I'm not mistaken this was the final episode of the series and the end of the critic review show genre in general.
Yeah it was a dead art
@@jdtroup198683 Agreed. When you think about it, it was a little bit of a shame.
Its not over yet you should watch Mark Kermode and Simon Mayo they are great
@@65g4 I have sampled them and they are good. But they are NOT Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert.

10:57 bro he was ready to stab her
Christy Lemire reminds me so much of Leslie Mann, they have to be related somehow.
Was this before or after the two Ben's?, I don't remember these two.
After the two Bens, and Scott and Phillips.

Man, this show is horrible without Roeper, Ebert, or Siskel.
I mean you’re right but the era with Michael Phillips and A.O. Scott is alright.
Nah, this was better than with Roeper at least.
