I felt safe walking around by myself just fine. And In the 5-star resort you will be super safe I hope you guys have a great time! The people and town are amazing ❤️

Did you ever feel unsafe venturing away from the beachside tourist area? I like the idea of exploring the neighborhoods but want to make sure its safe.

I felt safe but i also don’t drink or go out late at night really. There are quite a few Americans and tourists on both sides of puerto.

Yes! I was intrigued to go because a lot of influencers here on YT made it seem like it wasn’t super touristy. It’s a lovely area but yes it’s not hidden in any way.
