    I have tried to make some headway with this very important material for 40 years ( I wrote the date in 1984 in my schoolbook when I started trying to get a hold on this - with zero success ) and, finally, I have found a teacher !
    Thank you.

    And the same question for Why cos(270+theta) = sintheta when it's projected to negative part of the Y axis and the same question Why sin(270+theta) = -costheta when it's projected to positive part of the X axis?

    • @RajendraPrasad-zc6kh
      @RajendraPrasad-zc6kh 2 года назад

      The best way to clarify your doubt is, assign some arbitrary values to x and y in the first quadrant, which are nothing but cos and sine respectively. After that, instead of writing sin and cos as coordinates, you go on assigning x and y values as you go on getting for cos and sin with proper signs. Compare individual values with those you have in the First quadrant of cos theta and sin theta. In some cases, as you already know values of cos would be that of sine's and vice versa with signs per the quadrant. That should eliminate your doubt. We actually compare values of the coordinates in the brackets.

    Why cos(90+theta) = -sintheta when it's projected to positive part of the Y axis and the same question Why sin(90+theta) = costheta when it's projected to negative part of the X axis?

    • @bushrahafeez4507
      @bushrahafeez4507 4 года назад +2

      Because 90 plus theta comes in second quadrant and in second quadrant VALUE OF COS IS NEGATIVE that’s why cos 90 plus theta is equal toNEGATIVE sin theta. AND in seconf part 90 plus theta again is in second quadrant but the VALUE OF SINE in second quadrant is positive that’s why sin 90 plus theta is equal to POSITIVE cos theta
