    I am grateful I found this video I have been searching all over the internet for this piece of information I found it here. The explanation is clear cut and simplistic. I have seen teachers who make students mug up the values and facts and I am the student who is very conceptual I need to know the basis of how things were formed, only then I can understand the whole theory. It is really important to have depth than learning something in a shallow way. Teachers like you are keeping me from losing faith in the Indian education system. Thank you for making this video. :) Subscribed.

    Fantastic explanation 🙏🙏🙏 sir , you have expressed the ratios not only in a theoretical way , but ! infact literally physically ? You have moved around the unit circle expressing every sine n cosine of the angle theta falling in the respective quadrants reflecting the negative n positive sign 👍👍👍 beautiful video demonstrated to all beginners to understand trigonometry with absolute n complete confidence and not memorised like a parrot 🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you sir 🙏 God bless you 🙏

    Why sin(270+x)=-a

    • @JatheenVarmaBuddharaju
      @JatheenVarmaBuddharaju  5 лет назад +3

      Thanks for asking. Let me try.
      The green right triangle is obtained by rotating the orange triangle.
      Let a point (a,b) be in first quadrant of a unit circle and it makes an angle theta with positive direction of x-axis in anti-clockwise direction.
      Therefore Cos theta = a and Sin theta = b
      In first quadrant if a point is making angle 90- theta with positive direction of x-axis in anti-clockwise direction, then it is given by (b,a).
      So, Cos(90- theta) = b and Sin (90-theta) = a
      Now reflection of this point in X - axis is (b, -a) and the angle it makes with positive direction of x-axis in anti-clockwise direction is 270+ theta.
      So, Cos(270+theta) = b = Sin theta
      and Sin (270 + theta) = - a = - Cos theta
      Hope this helps. Please do let me know.

    Prove Sin (90+(θ)) = cos (θ) if(θ) is obtuse angle 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

    • @JatheenVarmaBuddharaju
      @JatheenVarmaBuddharaju  Год назад +1

      My thoughts..
      If theta is obtuse then it is between 90 and 180 degrees. Let us take theta equal to 90 + alpha where alpha is an acute angle.
      Now LHS = sin(90 + theta ) = sin (180+ alpha) = - sin alpha.
      RHS = cos theta = cos (90 + alpha ) = - sin alpha.
      So, LHS = RHS.
      Please let me know your opinion on this solution. 👍😊

      You can take any radius, the result will be the same.
