Brilliant performance by Nino! Mad respect for Tom P but I’m glad to see he still has to work for it and have luck or a course that suits him to win Thanks for posting this !
I'm a beginner in surf & skate, the beach is my home!!! In my spare time I'm riding a bike, but I want to start participating in races and cycling championships, but I'm still a beginner in everything... I need to prepare myself and have a suitable bike to start good exercises!!! I love watching your videos, these championships are great, a lot of adrenaline in your veins, total rush!!! Very good!!! I love it all very much!!! I'm a fan of these guys!!! Congratulations!!! I wish all the success in the world to all of you!!! Let's go by bike, this is my dream of consumption at the moment!!! My name is: Rubenn Dean Paul Alws "Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro" Brazil!!! I love the style of the guys!!! I'm your fan of each one of you!!! May God bless you so much, always including your family members!!! Follow me too please!!! Anyway we are here ok!!! Today I'm at ease... just watching the spectacular videos (Bicycle/Championship/Races and Claims) guys, everybody naked on a bicycle!!! Great!!! I liked!!! very crazy, very crazy!!! I want to be part of this group!!! Let's go by bike guys!!!
The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.
That's pure enjoyment - to see mostly hardtails, and none of that "900 cm travel time on mah carbon penta-air fork and mah custom made rear suspension that can withstand dropping from 10-th floor building" bullshit. I wonder if those so-called "downhill aces" can even do any of climbs racers here did almost effortlessly.
I was rooting for Pidcock but he didn't have the legs in this race. Look at his face when came off. Schurter was hungry for this. Gutsy performance from him and he dug deep to win.
It‘s when you feel too strong that you go too fast to the lead of the race. Pidcock had to pay for this way to manage the race. Even if he may be the strongest - Nino was more intelligent.🤷♂️
I think 29 inch wheels are a gimmik and no hard evidence has proven otherwise. Rolling resistance or what-not its seems when I ride 26 27.5 or 29 the 29s are spindley and less controllable at low speed technical sections. And it goes as well for single sprocket front drives as you have less control over shifting and dropped chains can't be fixed on the fly and without much weight savings. These gimmicks do sell bikes however as they convince the public they have to have them and of course the pros will be fast no matter as long as they are paid... as they say it's not the bike it's the rider.
I swear by 1x; continuous power band, new-gen wide-narrow teeth keep chains on quite well, the clutch on the rear derailleur additionally aids chain retention and frankly you sound like i did at one point in time when I was defending 26ers quite militantly and mindlessly. I've been running a 27.5+ since '18 and it was a Huge improvement since, with the tires, the overall diameter is 29" (or 700c) and things that would have sent me ass over teakettle I've (abruptly) rolled over in great surprise. Additionally, you also have 29+ and they're Not spindly(!). The fact of the matter is that mixed in with the b.s. gimmicky stuff there are the Legit developments (New School geometry, disc brakes, 27.5 standard, alt-flat bars, etc) that Hugely improve the sport. Sadly, the new gen take on cross-country isn't one of the improvements; a CX bike could run the XC courses I've seen in videos (just run the rough sections as if they were boards or mandatory dismounts). These Euros running UCI are dirty (read Deep into doping culture), have No idea what a proper XC course looks like, are inserting Lycra/Spandex where it's Least welcomed (if you look at the sport's roots!) Plus least protective, and if the truth be told, an organization which at root, is Pure Roadie Corporate Scum at heart. Mountain-biking needs it's own Brexit from UCI and Soon!
Thanks SO very much for uploading this event!!! Super appreciative of the view and GREAT coverage!!! THIS revs me right up for my training!

It always trips me up that World Champs is only a single race yet a bigger deal than World Cup overall which is way more challenging
it is two way to race, first you give all at the end of the season, the second you have to be reasonable.
Love you for uploading the race!! so much competition!!!
Thank you so much for uploading this video. As a Swiss living in French Polynesia i had no chance to see the race live on TV.

I think that the Olympic champion should have a spot on the front row by default.
Eh, two different leagues essentially. Doesn't seem relevant.

Such a great race 👌
Glad to see a cross country course you can actually get hurt on 👍
Was just thinking that, reminded me of the Sports class of a SAMS race back in the 90s!
@@CycleGranCanarias It's pretty tame compared to Saint Anne though.
It's easy to say that from your seat. I would like to see u riding the easiest track on the calendar at your level.

I CANT IMAGINE THE PAIN ON THEIR LEGS

Not as special event as downhill, but okay. Well done boys.
What? Nino wins his 10th World title and you think that's not special!!! You think it's OK? Are you completely stupid or something 🤡
Cool

How long do you have to stay at this level before you get to play 9n the grown up stuff with an engine?

Pidcock is very far from the start, and able to manage in the front. if he is in the front from the start Nino is look older.

Is this what mtb racing has been reduced to? We call this cyclocross where I’m from.
Suggestion: watch it on mute.

If 26 were faster they would be racing on 26, they obviously aren't.
Try ridding this track on a 26. Won't be much fun, especially for riders like David Valero or Sam Gaze.
