No hate or disrespect, but no other girl groups in South Korea can even come close or touch XG rapline. That's a fact. Beside paying tribute to hip hop and hip hop artists, everything they rap about is real. Because they're all Japanese from Japan based in South Korea, they are being hate and bullied in South Korea due to Anti Japanese and Xenophobia from Korean. Majority of their fans (about 80-90 percent) are international fans. Jurin and Harvey performed this live at Billboard's SXSW in Sydney, Australia.
Other girlgroups who try to do hip hop or RnB concept don't do it as well as XG, so far anyways. Others who do this concept still try to be trendy and cute, but XG properly embraces and has real knowlegde of the genre of music and everything about them is top tier. They are seriously the full package. There is no weak link.
Along with the Tapes, I'd recommend Show You Can by Maya and Cocona of XG. They made this for a street dance show. There is a dance video from Tsubakill which is the team that used it in the show. It is only half the song so look for the Lyric Video for the full song.
Just an FYI. Their Tape contents have the rap lines, rap in English, Japanese, and Korean. On this one though, it's only English and Japanese. XG is a 7 piece (4 rappers, 3 main vocalists, 7 amazing dancers, and 7 singers) Japanese girl group promoting in South Korea. So they are tri-lingual. maybe i had a trauma watching some reactors reacting to tape #2 first then belittling harvey ;-; when in fact harvey is actually amazing and versatile too.
