his is such a detailed breakdown of vocal strength! The explanation of chest voice as the foundation for vocal power really clicks. Thanks for this awesome session!
Thank you so much for your video lessons!! I have learned more in a few of yours than I learned in any of the vocal lessons I’ve taken in the past 20 years. I have always felt that my voice was locked inside me, and with your help I have found it, freed it, and my vibrato is starting to happen. Hallelujah I am overjoyed!! it will definitely help me to work smarter not harder, sounds cheesy but so true!!❤you rock 🤘🏼
I watched a couple of your videos and they've been SUPER helpful. I'm a new singer, I joined a chorus for fun but I'm really struggling with strain. Thank you for the videos! subscribed 😊
@@wolfstudiosnyc Doing this I noticeably sung better and I feel I understand what it means to sing from the chest more. Absolutely will be bingeing your videos! ❤
Me encanta poder encontrar estos ejercicios vocales ❤ muchas gracias amigo por compartir tus conocimientos. Nos queda poner en práctica todas tus enseñanzas 😊
Everyone's level of vocal fitness and stamina is different. You should do these exercises mindfully and be conscious of your voice feels during and afterwards. A good goal to start would be a few times a week, maybe every other day.
@@wolfstudiosnyc I really enjoy doing this set of exercises, they explanations on why are very clear. Never really did vocal fry before. For me currently, they are troublesome at best . Looking forward to your morning set.
Good exercises that I knew. Thanks for sharing. Ubfortunateky my voice cannot go farther the b5 flat, no voice at all after that, and certain days not even the b5 flat. I guess it is just my ambitus, I do not have very dark voice, but my high notes are no existing after A5, no matter the practice. I guess I am a mezzo with a short range in the higher part.
Get a straw and fill a cup with water half way. Hum vocal sirens from low to high back to low into the straw which will have extra back pressure from the water. This will help you feel what it's supposed to feel like to have optimal chord closure.
Yes, this and any other SOVT exercises, lip rolls, tongue trills, trumpet sounds, m, n, ng, z, all can help with smoothing the transitions and vocal breaks.
Try to concentrate only on doing exercises for vocal break and always try to play with your voice, if you do it well in about a month you could find the coordination for vocal break. At first it will sound weak but you will instinctively know that this is the coordination you were looking for.
"Patient with the results but do the work." Excellent 👍
3:01 oh yeah descending
5:05 oh yeah ascending

HI Kurt, This is a very good one. You do reference "your morning exercises". Do you have a video planned for that subject?
Yes, working on that!

Great lessons. Kinda shocked to see a student listening to him with her hands in the pockets. Not a good manner.
Wow 🤩 thanks ❤
