You've been trolled, you've been trolled
      Yes, you've probably been told
      Don't reply to this guy
He's just trying to get a rise
Out of you, yes, it's true
You respond and that's his cue
To start trouble on the double
While he strokes his manly stubble
You've been trolled, you've been trolled
      You should probably just fold
When the only winning move is not to play
And yet you keep on trying, mindlessly replying
You've been trolled, you've been trolled, have a nice day

      theyre both s*it.
grill some bacon, get backside not streaky, you must be able to get black pudding in USA? i prefer tinned tomartos and fried bread. youre supposed to cook the whole thing in a pan and use the fat and juice to fry the bread but nowadays just frying the bread in veg oil is easier, the tinned tomartoes ac😮d is nice vs the greasy bread. season it alot with salt and pepper.
i work in a warehouse and i get 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 hash brown, fried bread, tomartyoes for £2 every morning after night shift at work. people i work with are very diverse and they all eat it.

That Morrison’s breakfast had my mouth watering! And I LOVE fried bread. I didn't think any restaurants served that. I'm a Londoner who has lived in the US for 40+ years. Breakfast is my favorite meal but no where over here comes anywhere close to a UK breakfast.

Pre-pandemic I used to shop weekly at Morrisons (on-line now) and precede this with lunch on their café. Often Fish & chips or macaroni cheese & garlic bread, but sometimes I'd go for the Full English. Always good but it varied slightly from your plate. A little smaller but still a decent plate. There were fewer sausages and there were multiple small mushrooms rather than one biggie. One thing I appreciated - I always ask for the tomato to be excluded and nearly always I'm asked if I wanted a bigger portion of other elements - so I got extra mushrooms. I never have cooked breakfast at home so it's a treat.
Around Christmas time the seasonal meals are a nice treat. Veggie options like mushroom & french cheese wellington are a decent variation.

Morrisons wins this for me. 2 of those breakfasts could easily feed 3 people. Great value. In all fairness to Wetherspoons they are also consistently good and have set us up for the day on numerous visits to the UK. It's a great fall back position for those traveling on a budget no matter the time of day. Just be weary of ordering around Christmas. I found that many items on the menu were not available.

  • @gerrylewis5281
    @gerrylewis5281 Год назад +13

I was surprised at how great the Morrison’s looked. The portions were large and looked to be well cooked, except the tomato. The Black Pudding was nice and thick, which I like. Having fried bread on the plate really made it for me.
As for the Weatherspoon’s one? It didn’t look that brilliant. No tomato and the Black Pudding was way too thin and came at an extra cost. An old trick is to make the breakfast look bigger is to put the beans onto the plate so they take up more room. All in all not something I would seek out.
I have to say that your idea of a ‘ runny ‘ yoke and mine are a lot different. An egg isn’t runny if you have to get it to flow using your knife. A runny yoke should just naturally flow out when you pop it.
    Still a good review.

This video came up on my feed and I'm glad it did! You seem like a very nice guy, very enjoyable to watch and easy to listen to🙂 I liked the Wetherspoons just as much but they were very hard to split particularly serving the same sausage. The bacon was crispier and I felt the sauce for the beans was darker and thicker. There were two eggs also. For me 3 sausages is one too many and I liked the thinner black pudding rings which were crunchier. The only advantage with the Morrison's was the fried bread. At the pub you got unlimited tea! I think the extra 63p was worth it❤I'll see you again!

In this one the Morrisons one looks better, but Wetherspoons is extremely reliable across the country for a good breakfast.
Morrisons have gone through a rough patch recently, raising prices, neglecting the stores and loads of stock off sale.

Great video as usual. I had just that choice two days ago. I opted for Morrisons, and wished I hadn't. The black pudding was as hard as rock and the bacon looked like it had been boiled, not fried. The fried bread tasted as though the cooking oil needed changing. I only had two sausages too. I'll stick to independent café breakfasts in future. It's a few months since I had a spoons breakfast, but I remember it was fairly ordinary. The free refills easily makes up for the price difference between the two.

So with food and drink Brewers Fayre. with out a drink then Toby. or any of there other owned pubs that belong to them that do unlimited breakfast.
Being able to pick the items on your plate and have as many as you like is always a better choice.
Not sure if you could class Morrisons as the winner for cheapness since it will depend on how many drinks you have.
and In some wetherspoons they are doing a traditional breakfast for £3.14. and a drink for £1.02 which would mean you can get two for the value of morrisons at the present time

Breakfast item preferences are as numerous as your combo bites!
I'd prefer two eggs that don't need to be undercooked and runny, the beans are sufficient for dipping, no black pudding, great fried bread, bacon with fat cut off well done sausages, portion of small mushrooms not the big ones, properly fried tomato or tinned, crispy hash browns a round of toast to mop up. Minimum of two brews.
As I say, to each his own. Both these are good value for money. On balance, I'd prefer the Weatherspoon breakfast

I never thought I’d enjoy a person eating so much as I do now. Black pudding, Fried bread, Runny egg yoke, etc Stop as I’m going to damage my iPhone with drooling. You being a bit of eye candy don’t help, lol. Good review, keep you the good work even tho I may need to get myself a new mobile, lol.

The Morrisons breakfast looked really good and having fried bread instead of toast really does it for me especially with a good size portion of mushrooms and extra sausages compared with Wetherspoons. Definitely better value for money. I do however like the unlimited tea and coffee options in Wetherspoons which is cheaper than a pot of tea in Morrisons.

I'm bias as I work in Morrisons but both breakfasts are amazing only thing missing is a nice stream of tomato ketchup over everything to enhance the flavour

Morrisons for me. Friend bread an sausage extra mushroom black pudding as standard and it’d cheaper. No brainer. Except I’d swop out a sausage for a second egg. Yum.

I love spoons breakfast, love the app and the pricing is regional so less affluent areas get very cheap food.
The only downside is the self-serve coffee. If you're trying to work, it means you need to leave your laptop at one end of the pub and walk to the other.

Went to Wetherspoons recently and ordered the Mushroom benedict.. a waitress came over to my table to tell me that they had no poached eggs, so would i want a full english breakfast instead? I asked about no eggs, but she said that it wouldn't be a problem as they had fried eggs but no poached?? I later enquired to be told that the poached eggs are pre-poached when they're delivered..? Good review though.👍

I love a cooked breakfast and find it very difficult to ruin it, however Weathspoone at Lime St can. Three chances I have given them and each time the beans have been stone cold.

Both looked good. That said, your description of the fried bread experience sold it to me.
Could you review continental breakfasts? You know, Dutch ham, meat and cheese ones Vs French pasties? I understand after Brexit that's less likely though.

Hope you know fried bread is fried in "seed" oil which produces omega 6 fatty acids which in turn causes inflammation.

I thought the Wetherspoons looked excellent and the free hot drink refills are star attractions.
    However, the Morrison’s looked better.
As I’m struggling to recover from Covid, I’d happily give $20 for either, because each would be very cheap here in the USA

Wasn't a "roasted tomato" on the Morrisons breakfast, it looked barely cooked as did the bacon and black pudding and only 1 egg? Fried bread and hash browns are good plate fillers.
Wetherspoons beans always come luke warm to cold.
    Sausages looked good on both.
