Probably. Liliac decides what they want to do, it's their album. They chose to put Somber Cry and Hey There Child on the album.
Your right! I don't hear any POP MUSIC! this album overall expresses just how diverse they have become! Thier sound is changing in so many positive directions!! I think this will definitely draw a lot of attention from new and future fans! And what's really great is I've never heard a bad or mediocre song from them!!!

One thing Liliac does not do is PoP , this is the 2nd song you've done from their latest album there're another 9 for you to react to they are all fangtastic they are all different they are all recognisable as a Liliac original, check them out you won't be disappointed ,Liliac also have 2 other albums of originals and 2 albums of tribute covers you just won't believe . You can do no better service to yourself and your subscribers than to react to many more Liliac performances . FANG4LIFE RORH
Listened to a few Liliac songs in the past and thought they were better than the other family/kiddy bands, still too pop rock for me to listen to regularly, but this is a whole new turn for them, a lot heavier. Some interesting verses in the lyrics but they are still more pop oriented than metal. Still, if they continue in this vein they might be a steady listen in the future.
No, you're right about very little keyboard sound in the mix. And that happens a lot in their songs, where you wonder where the keyboard is, but in other songs, it's quite obvious and a major part of the song. I've got the album, and there are several songs where the keyboard is prominent. But unfortunately i think the rest of the album is a bit of a disappointment, as out of the 11 songs (including the worthless bonus track) only Madness anc Carousel are really bangers. The rest are more like Pop Rock if anything.
