While I'm sorry that they couldn't be adopted all together, it's great to know that Echo has a loving home & that Timber & Rosie are in loving hands & hopefully will each find a good loving home (maybe fingers crossed together!!).
We rescued two huskies and they are the center of our life; yes, they need a lot of time and attention, but they give back in spades and help keep us exercising and getting outdoors😀.
I had 2 Huskies. It’s true, Huskies are not easy to train nor take care of but absolutely loving and fun to be with. I just wish people who decide to get a Husky, do their homework first. These dogs are stubborn. Even if you tell them 10 times no, they will still do it. It’s not because they’re not trainable, it’s because it’s an adventurous highly energetic dog who just wants to play and explore. The more you tire them, the happier they are. This is not a dog for a couch potato family.
Sounds like my two Bichons, minus the couch potato part lol. I, too, wish that people did research on certain breeds. Bichons are notoriously difficult to potty train, and are extremely sneaky. That's the number one reason why they end up in shelters: because they are too hard to potty train. Just when you think they've got it down...a surprise is waiting for you in your bedroom slippers.
@@MissBellaMe I have an older Malamute that i rescued that was never potty trained, I struggle with her still to this day with it but I love my big old fluff ball and wont ever give up on her. I also have a couch potato Husky lol
Huskies are bred to be independent. They need to make independent decisions as members of the dog team. Especially the lead husky. So there's no wonder if they don't want to obey their owners easily.
I had 2 huskies. We came up with a motto for our boy husky. "No is only temporary." The girl would talk back to us if we told her something she didn't like. I could swear I heard one or two husky curse words in those tantrums.
Thanks for the advice. Explains my friends dog. Shes so finny, personality plus, talks all the time, argues. We don’t mind it. Her spirit is magnificent. But she talks over people at other times and not in the fin way she normally does. Sge IS like a caged wild animal- not enough exercise. My friend got her accidentally as a puppy-my friend’s housemate got her, then he promptly up and d. My friend got the dog by default. It turned out great for my friend-the pup was the impetus she had needed to leave the city and the grind and take the risk she had always wanted to take, to live on a country property. But my friends back broke. She used s walker now. Life is so random. Si beautiful Jacky-dog has dog walkers go around the block a few times. But it’s not enough. Jackie is 9 now. Loves her human and is crazy protective. So we wont re-home her. But its sad to watch her working spirit not get to work. Thanks though, for the confirmation of what i thought was wrong with our little mate
I would adopt them all if I could. I know the local shelter here is about a quarter huskies, a quarter pit-mixes and half everything else. Poor babies. My heart goes out to every single animal who is just looking for their forever home. And bless every human who is doing all they can to help rehome those sweet animals.
It's so important to inform about the Huskies' personalities since they are obviously not dogs for couch potatoes. A huge THANK YOU to all the wonderful rescuers involved-you are-just like these beautiful dogs-real Angels!
I volunteer at my Local shelter and we get so many working dogs bc people don’t realize how smart they are, how easy it is for them to escape, how much WORK they are, and how much training the need.
I first rescued a husky/chow mix who was a perfect dog and I couldn't understand why people were saying they were so challenging. Four years later I rescued another 18 month old husky as a companion to my husky/chow. Well, that's when I had the awakening. In the first three weeks, nearly every day I had a new reason to think about returning him to the rescue. But after those three weeks, I decided for better or for worse, he was my dog and we would figure it out. Now he's 14 years old and he's my wonder dog. No regrets. So many rewards.
@@TropicGal777 The first three months were a little dicey, but my older one, although smaller, finally convinced the new husky that there was no way she was going to relinquish top dog status. Once the pecking order was settled, they got along great. Best friends till the end.
I can confirm that huskies are escape artists. I had two and they were definitely the most challenging dogs I have had, but I wouldn't trade that experience for anything. They were both amazing dogs. I miss them. I don't miss the shedding though.
California has one of the highest kill rates in the country. Lee Asher of Asher House is frequently highlighted on the Dodo channel. He has rescued a couple of hundred dogs this year alone from California euthanasia lists and had them transported to his rescue in the Northwest. There have been many Huskies but also Shepherds, Great Danes and other big dog breeds. I don't know what is going on in California but it is a dark place for dogs in need of rescue.
I’ve always loved the husky breed, but I personally know I don’t have the energy to keep up with one. They are special. They are loving. I can deal with the shedding and all the singing. I love when they sing.
I've got a husky and wouldn't take any other dog. He is so different , such an individual, loving it. Thx to my dog, I've lost weight as well. All them long walks are benefiting me as well lol
Omg I live in ohio and have the BEST puppy in the universe. MARLEY. HALF HUSKY & LAB. HE IS MY JOY EVERY DAY🎉ADOPT THESE BABIES YOU WILL BE SURPRISED 🎉
How can anyone be so cruel to these beautiful animals it makes sick how they are treated I mean they have feelings too so glad of you taken care of these beauties
One of the best dodo's!! Thank you for saving their lives! The pups are all strikingly beautiful. In this post the humans (angels) look super happy too! Best, from Colorado!
Mom here of two Siberian huskies and this is breaking my heart. It’s been a year since my fur babies passed away and seeing these sweet babies in this condition hurts.
I had my husky, Samantha for 15.5 yrs. and she was the BEST dog! Zoomies, escaping, loving, but best of all her “singing”!!! Oh how I miss that!♥️♥️I wish rescues weren’t so expensive bc I want a dog back in my life again!🐾
God sent angels to the Earth and you are one of them! Bless you for all your effort and help you give to these poor loving animals! Love from New York😇❤️
I had a beautiful Husky mix. ECHO. 😊💕💕💕😊 I learned sitting outside with her. Helped her not to leave. She loved having momma outside with her. I miss my big, fluffy girl.

Would be so heart warming if they did get the same forever HUMANS. Im with u. BUT JUST THEM EACH not being euthanized and has a chance for a GOOD LIFE. It's still as heart warming to know all 3 still get a chance.... ❤❤❤❤
Adopting rescues is the best thing you can do. I have adopted three over the years and it was the best thing for them and the best thing for me. It seemed like they also rescued me. They completely changed my life and I will be forever thankful to them. They were the most beautiful pups and I just miss them so much. I could cry thinking about how much I miss them. 💔💔💔🐾🐾🐾😥😥😥
I'm an animal person who loves most animals. Ur so right about the animals needing rescued. I wish i had property to house many doggies. Im a cat lady however and feeds my 9+ babies i have bc of 2:feral mommas i feed having babies plus i try feed strays anywhere up to 30 cats a day. And thats me just walking down 1 block of my neighborhood in Toledo. So many starving neglected animals
Just having food once a day does wonders for them bc without that more times than not they're fortunate to eat a bug or bird maybe a rat here and there. It's horrific to see ANY CREATURE STARVING AND NEGLECTED. WE as a society could choose to be BETTER but sadly a perfect world only are in our dreams and hopes bc SO MUCH UGLINESS with humans are why these babies suffer.
Thank you for saving these beautiful dogs & for bringing awareness to adopting shelter pets. I’m glad they saved these poor babies 😊 They must be from the same litter?? It’s the eyes, they are all the same❤ I hope they find their beautiful forever homes🙏🏻😇👑
Lovely, lovely... doggo. I'm so happy with the tides turning and can live to see the media running scared as they try to act as if they care. We all know real change starts from the grounds up. I know most people who help and have animals, well me at least, dislike people but I think we all need to work together to find the plot again.
I was a pet sitter in Germany for a husky. She was the smartest, most loveable pup! Still miss her to this day! Huskies are meant to be in cold temps like their packs are. Educate before getting this hper amazing dog! ❤❤❤

gosh i hope these 2 find a home, and get to stay together.
We rescued our pup Anchor from Atlas Animal Rescue last year! It’s a great organization and we love our pup!
Anchor is a great name! Kudos to you all, thanks for rescuing them!

It's heart wrenching to know how many shelters are full to capacity. There's is no good reason it should be that way!

What I find difficult to stomach is they have been abused and when they are rescued the following day they were going to be killed. Shocking
My thoughts exactly!
What is the point of "rescuing" them if youre going to k i l l them the next day 🙄🙄

Unbelievable. Sickening.
I love Huskies I love to hear them howl and I know they can be full of drama but they are amazing dogs.❤❤❤

The shelters here are full of Siberian Huskies and German Shepherd dogs. It is incredibly sad. So happy these three pups were rescued.
I adopted a 5 year old Shepsky (German shepherd husky mix) I can’t imagine a life without him now. He makes our house a home.
