Hola Miguel, me alegro de oírte y gracias. ¿Cuánto tiempo has tenido tu Hymer? ¿Tienes algún viaje planeado en 2018? Feliz año nuevo. (Hello Miguel, nice to hear from you and thank you. How long have you had your Hymer? Do you have any trips planned in 2018? Happy New Year.)
Herman the Hymer hello hernan I have been for only two months, we have been renting for seven years and we have decided to buy. in 2018 we want to return to Normandy. Happy New Year 2018
Nice Vid again ads. we had a drink in the Bar Zoe walked past and lit a candle in the church only a few weeks before you got there... Nice place, people abit stand offish. Brittany is 'South Cornwall'!!
Always funny to hear you pronounce french city names lol. Hope you're working on that . Nice video as usual . Lots of love from France . Merry Christmas and happy new year
Great video and so informative, entertaining viewing through these winter evenings ! We're planning Brittany when things open up in Spring and just applied for ACSI card - Did you book the sites through the ACSI app or direct with the sites own website ? Not sure how you get the ACSI discount if you book on line direct...........are you guys retired ?
+Jon Marshall Hi Jon. No we're not retired. The ACSI discount is only for low season. You get the discount when you check in at the reception of the campsite. We didnt book any of the sites. We decide where we are going for the day and use the app to find and choose a site. Because we're in the low season the sites are not full so we just turn up without calling them. Some sites charge for a booking. One place wanted €30?
Thanks for that makes perfect sense. Have you thought of the Pyrenees ? We may head that way late April if weather is grotty in Brittany. Did it on a motorbike few years back and recall a great holiday. We're not retired either so having to fit holidays around work commitments....
+Jon Marshall I've been to the Pyrenees skiing and a motorbike tour but never in Herman. It's probably a bit far too far to get to for us in 2 weeks. We maybe heading to Germany this year but not 100% sure
We live in South Devon so good proximity to ferry port in Plymouth. Lived in Germany for a few years, you won't go wrong with a holiday but I personally prefer Southern Germany for the walking. You'll be taking Herman back home, not sure where Hymer are based............my daughter you have good editing skills by the way !
Just a note on the motorhome sigm,( No parking , No motorhomes) in France those signs are not in the French highway code, in other words they don't exist, A motorhome in French law is a motor vehicle only so the only restriction is hight, weight , If its below 3.5 tom, it is the same as a car. A local mayor can restrict a motorhome in his area, But he has to put up a sign explaining why, and giving details of where and when the restriction is., This sign is in fact for information only. The signs just help to keep the numbers down and foreign drivers think they are legal So keep away too. I bet they were two French motorhomes? because they would know. Love your channel btw. ;-)
Hi Bake been, Thanks for the info. Yes they were French motorhomes. They came in together and I think they knew each other. There's not much room in the parking area and they weren't in bays.
Hi Guys. I agree they was not much room and they were not really doing the right thing! or using their common sense, Its gives the wrong impression to other road users and the local town. I just wanted to give you the legal position should someone tell you different, if you find a car park that is empty and you just want to stop for a short while then you know that you can do legally. I have even out of season (with an empty car park) parked next to such signs for the night with no problems. Again love your channel, keep up the good work, Enjoy France :-)
Your videos always make me smile but this one made me giggle there are some things that should not be seen and that includes drying underwear, 😱🤣Merry Christmas to you both🎅🏼🍷
