I absolutely love how creative and inspiring Bear McCreary is with his music. He's easily one of the best and most inventive composers working today. Kudos, my friend.
This video was so interesting and it is great how passionate you all are about the various aspects. It really shows through in the incredible soundtrack. I can't wait for Season 2 of this fantastic show.
Watching these videos, you guys all seem so passionate and happy with your work. You are all so fantastic, I love it! You seem to have a lot of fun, and I think it shows.
I think the bones where the first instruments ever invented they were in other countries too so I can imagine they were a worldwide instrument used by ancient warrior tribes aswel as the bodhran like the bongo in Africa and other tribal drums
Very interesting video, I don't think I've ever seen a Bodhrán this size and shape. I am for familiar with a broader circle and shallower sides, usually with a cross or bar at the back and played with double ended beater. The sound is a bit different as well.
That's how I play - an 17- or 18-inch drum, playing double-ended. I've spent too much time getting OK that way to spend time being crap the single-ended style!
Its irish simple as that being playing for years I always laugh at Americans making such a big deal about celtic culture because im Irish and im so used 2 it lol 😂 it

Any suggestions for a beginner bodhran player as to a solid but tunable bodhran that will carry me through past the beginner stage? Thanks!
Woohoo!
Who made the bodhran he's playing?
What size bodhran is that?
Could I hire this entire collab team to create an original score for my game? I would pay in advance for any work....
2:08 so THAT'S how Spoonman does it!
Does anyone know what size bodhran that is?
