WDP4D is the king of diesel train engines of India and it's my most favorite diesel hero of Indian railways and in fact I am a big fan of EMD locomotives. Since Bengaluru Hubballi line is fully electrified, all the trains which pass via this route have been running by electric locomotives while all the diesel locomotives including EMD engines are used only for train shunting purposes.
