I'm with you Sis. I don't regret it. All of this maintenance and upkeep ALONE is a bit much. It also seems like everything goes wrong at once or when your funds are low, lol..
Girl yess, and that is exactly why I was frustrated! 😂 I’m trying to save for other things and it’s like the repairs were coming left and right!! 🤣🤣 But, the bright side is we’re gone get it done!
Having a home is a money pit and paying rent is a money pit. Both of them have their perks and downsides. Whatever decision you make, just make sure it is the right decision for you, because wherever you lay your head, you want to be happy in that space. This is a great topic!

Im a single woman and i own my home. I dont regret homeownership but like you said them repairs and maintenance make me sad. Dont mention the ac. I had to get a repair this summer because we were baking her in Louisiana and it wasnt cheap and took two different people to really get to repaired. A man would be nice but life us life. Im grateful to be able to afford to do it in my own. Been 11 years for me!
Yess, Latoya. They (repairs) make me sad too, will legit have me in my feelings, lol. But like you said, life is life and we gota get it done. I’m with you 100% about being grateful to be able to do it alone. Girlll, I’m going to start looking at a unit m for next summer and I’m legit dreading it!😫😫😫

Liiiiiiiissssen!!!!!!!! Just recently a few month ago i was gongho abt buying a home!!!!!!! baaaaabeeee the more friends and family keep talking about home issues... IM GOOD on that!!!! I dont wanna NOOOOOOOTHING WHILE SINGLE!!!!!!!!! NOW yes i still do want to live in a home for space and other reasons.... BUT BEING A HOMEOWNER...NAAAAAH IM GOOD!!! It dont even bother me anymore bc I look at it like this! I have to pay to live somewhere, sooooo🤷🏽♀
I'm with you Tiffany! As long as it's a roof over my head! I honestly miss the convenience of my apt. I had the best service people and they knew me by name. They'd come at the drop of a dime, lol!
