  • Power Apps Travel App Using Geospatial Controls
    Hey Everyone,
In this video, I'll walk you through how I was able to take an existing travel app that I refer to for the local light rail and rebuild it in Power Apps. I used the Power Apps geospatial controls to replicate all the features in the original app with the flexibility to add my own items to it.

This is so well explained and such a well done video. I immediately subscribed. Cant wait to see what else is on the list! Is it possible to drop pins not based on addresses but purely on Lat/Long?

      Glad it was helpful!
It is possible purely on latitude and longitude.

@@DanielChristian19 - It took me a moment, but I was able to figure that out! I did it with a custom list and then assigning the columns on the advanced tab.

Thank you for sharing Daniel. Is it possible to have the geofencing feature within the canvas app? Example: Project A is located in Seattle, WA, USA, and the user's current location is in Redmond, Washington USA.
In that case, if the user tries to check in on a project and he's out of the location it will throw him a notification error message that he's not in the right location or if he's 400 meters away from the location same scenario.
