I had no idea you could get them this easily! I’ve been spending hours on the levels you get them because I didn’t know that they dropped so frequently from other missions. I thought they were just too rare of drops to even bother with lol. Now that I know this, I can get 5 star variants for everyone much faster. Thank you very much for this! Edit: Jeez, I’m getting way more 4 than 4+ weapons. And I’ve also gotten a lot of level 3s too... only one actually maxed out 4+ weapon. Not sure if my luck is bad or if they’re really just that rare. If I could start a new game, I would go back and get all the 4+ weapons first and not unlock the other weapons until I had max stars and slots for every 4+ weapon. I feel like my chances of getting them would be higher if I didn’t have all these level 3 and 4 weapons popping in and being what could’ve been another max weapon. 😅

right now I'm using a maxed out young link with a 750 lvl 4+ weapon and a fairy with maxed out trust and magic bonds and special bonds because I don't have magic fountain yet. As well as lvl 3 weapon rank drop from the apothecary, and I have both the slots+ and stars+ skills on my weapon, but man is it still a grind for me. I like the game, except when it becomes a mass grind for me to find some of the best stuff in the game. Btw, Young Link in my opinion is the most op character in the game if you have him built correctly, and magic fountain, magic bonds, and special bonds definitely help a lot. Since those fairy skills make Young Link good in any situation, since If you have a fairy with maxed trust and its lvl 99. You can use magic bonds three times per mission, and each time it completely fills your magic gauge, same case for special bonds too. And if you run out of magic bonds, then just use special bonds, then convert it to magic, meaning even if there's not enough enemies around to stay in fierce deity form, you can still fill your magic gauge a total of 6 times, and if you have magic fountain, well then that just spells op character and mass destruction.
Just do the competitions. for keep capturing and KO just use exp+ skill and apotheracy exp+ potion. for rupee use rupee+ skill and apotheracy rupee+ potion. Also use sp replenish to keep filling gauge if you don't have those skills and invest in special+
Thank you for you content! It works like a charm! Though, using magic does not seem to be needed so far (only did like 15 tries). Yep, I've beaten all the maps and still find Master Quest one of the worst for nasty conditions like "don't get hit". The supposed 2 highest difficulty maps were far less annoying, particularly Grand Travels in which you can remove character restrictions.

Skill apothecary potions. They don't increase the chance of getting sealed skills but they increase the chance of them being the type you're after. What level of potion is available is dependent on Skulltula progress though.

I was trying to farm specific weapons by playing the Lv 4+ unlock mission with Stars+, Slots+, and a level 3 Stars potion, but I consistently only got 3-star weapons from the mission reward. Do the potions and/or skills not affect the weapon gained as the mission reward? Anyway, thanks for the video; maybe I'll have better luck with this method.
On this level they will but you aren't guaranteed 5 star so you just keep at it. You won't get a 5 star weapon from its unlock level though. Those are limited to 3 star. As usual you're only guaranteed the specific weapon of whoever you're playing as and the others will be random. You want the Weapon Rank III potion though, not Weapon Stars III.
No because the only possible drops are weapons, materials and food. As long as you don't increase the chances of materials/food instead of weapons you're fine. Though practically I don't think material/food bonuses will have much effect seeing as you are limited to how many weapons you can collect per mission anyway. Chances are you'll be getting more weapons than you can keep regardless. It just makes sense to maximise weapon odds when you're on a weapon hunt.
Master Quest bottom left with an XP potion and EXP weapon. It's nerfed from the Wii U version but still viable. It takes a few hours. Easiest to start with Young Link as he can maintain the focus spirit More EXP boon easily. For best efficiency have a low-level 2nd warrior, switch to them after beating all the captains and let them die so you can restart keeping the potion in effect. Earned EXP will be kept.
Typically they say 50 for the easy maps and 100 for the hardest maps. I just used LV 255 Young Link (with Magic Fairy+) on everything. If there was a character limit I'd bring a 2nd controller to bypass that, or on the Grand Travels map just use a golden train to remove the limit.

You can control drops to a degree with certain apothecary potions (like making certain skill types more likely). You gain access to better versions the more Golden Skulltulas you have (you want 90 for best effect). You'd need to go look up the specifics, I've not played in years but I've mentioned it elsewhere on the playlist. There aren't really any other silver bullets than that.
I gather the general consensus is LV50 for the earlier maps and LV100 for the harder ones, so LV100. Honestly though there's a cheese for this; just fairy nuke them with a Magic Fountain+ fairy then whack them when they're nearly dead (to employ the weapon bonuses).
brianb2588 I literally beat all the maps in the game with A rank using level 80+ characters, so I’m sure you’ll be able to beat it pretty easily with about level 85-90 characters. As long as you have their level 4 or 4+ weapon, you should have very little trouble clearing most levels on every map but the rewards map because the rewards map is actually insanely tough.
It's a high level random sealed skill. With Legendary you can achieve 840 power. I use it in this video for instance: ruclips.net/video/fk5De_uoXcg/видео.html You can't get it until you've unlocked ALL weapons.
In terms of battle if you have 4+ weapons you don't need 4 weapons but to unlock the Legendary skill you need to have found all weapons. However if you do a 4+ mission you won't need to do the corresponding 4 mission as unlocking the 4+ weapon will unlock all lower types and they will start dropping.
I just used Young Link for every mission including the ones he's initially locked out of. If they're strong enough to handle the mission you're best off using whoever you're after a weapon for as it guarantees them a weapon.
Just to say I made some improvements to my technique since recording this and can finish the mission quite a bit quicker now.
