Here's something I found out for myself. On the first day, if you talk to Tetih she asks you if you wanna play the bones minigame, if you play and get past round 8 then she will give you a free chest. also, talking to other NPC's will get you free seeds but that seemed a little too obvious.
Im waiting to play on the switch. I need to learn more about the multiplayer features, because my husband and I want to play together! So far from everything I've seen, i'm very excited!!
Yes I haven’t tried multiplayer yet since I have no one to play with but I bet it is fun! I think you will enjoy it, hope it comes to switch very soon!
Tipp dont take the Friendship at your rite. You wont get much except for cutszenes out of the npc, also stamina is too easy to recover with food. fishing is nice but more early game focused, the best one ist faster farming.

I've been watching other reviews on UT about this game and the devs have added alot of npc's to the game and more things to do then what the other reviews have shown in the past.
These tips were great! I just bought the game during the summer sale, and it's overwhelming but I think I will love it. I noticed some people have the time of day on their icon in the upper right corner of the screen. How do I get that on there? Thanks! Keep up the good work. :)

I agree! I was going to put that in there but since it was the only choice I had taken I was like ehhh haha
If you open the Npc menu it will tell who sells what each merchant has an icon next to their name

I have found that you get more with smoked fish versus dried. Sometimes double.
