Greetings ✨️🎼 This is to anyone who is watching this and my first few videos. This was my first reaction to this song. I understand that the sound and video quality are not the best. In fact, It looks and sounds like it was filmed in the 50s. 😆 Momentarily, I do not have the fanciest equipment. There is only ONE first-time reaction, and this is mine. I wasn't going to record a brand new one just to get the perfect reaction. Thank you to those of you who understand that I'm new to cameras, microphones, and recording ✨️
@@AmarissNevae Cat is cute, but there is something in room that are even cuter......... I love that owl😋 Debut is a debut........you are now officially on the other side🤩
I was so into the The Doors in my teens, and beyond. They were way before my time, and I do remember my mom listening to them when I was a baby/child,, but It was Oliver Stone's The Doors, with Val Kilmer, that really got me into them. They kinda of changed everything for me musically. Good to hear them again.
@@AmarissNevae There are so many ways to go down that remarkable rabbit hole. If you would like a beautiful, heart-touching ballad, start with "Here, There and Everywhere." For a quick, cool up-tempo number, try "Drive My Car." For something truly cool and more esoteric, there's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." Whichever way you go, I bet you're going to have a joyous romp. 😊✌️
When I worked in Vietnam, Thailand and see Asia, I used to go to Apocalypse Now bar in Saigon. HCMC. The theme song there, The Doors - The End. Next I used to go to Nha Trang. Mama Hanhs boat trip played the doors album and good morning Vietnam. Hope you can do Asia travel. ❤
I like how their music sounds relaxing, leading to a kind of pleasant hypnosis, with a cozy warmth in a sensual, romantic, exotic way... Jim Morrison had a highly artistic brain, he was an intense, deeply sensitive person and he managed to express his emotions in an impressive way in his music, lyrics, voice, performance etc...
You described it perfectly. This was my first reaction, so thank you for being kind. It's so weird of a reaction, but I had fun making it! I look forward to hearing more from THE DOORS 🚪 ✨️ Thanks!! ✨️
I know you did live Doors vids and this isn’t one, but I often think of something a member of the band said. When they played some large festivals, and the hippies in the crowd were dancing and swaying, they would just stop and sit in awe while The Doors performed. Apparently the group’s music had a much more mesmerizing effect.
Hello! 😊 Wow, I, too, felt like I was under some sort of trance! I look forward to hearing more in some upcoming reactions. Hopefully, I don't get too mesmerized. I wish I could have experienced music like this live. What a time to be alive. ✨️
Perfect first track to react to The Doors. If you wanna continue to explore their first album, "Light my Fire" (album version not radio version) and "The End" are the 2 stand outs, with "The Crystal Ship" if you want another. The studio recordings are best for introducing them imo. ❤️ Edit: when he sings "she gets...." the lyric is "she gets HIGH" but they had to mute "high" for the censors.
Hi. Great song! You're very pretty🥰 The reason why the song was short is that back then, AM radio wanted the songs to be short so that listeners wouldn't have to wait so long between songs
Seems that your new, and this was a great choice for a song/video. I hope you stick with it and grow. My suggestion for a song would be "Lowdown" from Boz Scaggs. It's off of the LP "Silk Degrees". I think you would enjoy that number. Everyone else seems to. Beautiful cat. Thanks for the reaction, I love The Doors.
Thank you. The cat was born to a wild feral mom cat outside. I finally tamed her after a few months. She was a wild kitten. 😸 Thank you for the suggestions. I love The Doors too so far, and the next Doors reactions won't be this quality. I'm getting more practice in each video. 🎼✨️🎼
@@AmarissNevae That's awesome! It takes great patience to work with feral cats. Your kitty is very content! Patience and the ability to know the difference between constructive criticism and someone just being plain rude is key. You seem to have that quality. I will continue to follow your channel and watch it bloom. You're off to a great start! 😁👍💥
@kendalton2115 Yes, she's way happy now. Her mom continues to eat outside. I have trapped many and have them fixed through a free program. Thank you for recognizing her. 😸 Yes, there have been some rude ones, but I just ignore them. The constructive ones I'm appreciative of. Thank you so much for the uplifting words. 💓🎼✨️

Now i have this owl friend..... which have a buddy named Ben..... Ben wants to know if do this Halloween theme come again next year? he will do his best to make, cause he really liked the Doors this time😍
@@AmarissNevae Ben has passed unfortunately, it was just an ant with personality, it always liked to "break on through to other side" and doin other pestilent stuff, but it asked on deathbed curiously........ what is....... genders?🐜🐜🐜🐜
@@AmarissNevae very intriguing, you can tell Mr Huxley was quite the fan of the psychedelics! The Doors are the coolest band in rock history. when the gods of rock throw a party, The Doors are the house band. Yes, the universe is TOTALLY awesome. What a magical experience that was meant to be. I can't wait to hear more songs from them enriched with gold. ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️🌌
Not to be critical but since it's a new channel, I thought I'd give suggestions. Looks like you have a nice mic but the sound of your voice is really weak. Also the shaking camera makes me nauseous. I like the commentary, history, ghosts (spooky)!
I appreciate your critique. It really does help. The microphone that I have unfortunately picks up every sound, and I did not know that prior to purchasing. I intend to get a completely different one soon. ☺️ I did not mean for any nausea. I do apologize. I was just experimenting and decided to post it since it was my first reaction. Thank you so much. 💗
Sorry poor audio, try baffling your mic, your voice is harsh and brittle and grating. Also, you do far too much talking, but this video IS about you isn't it?
I did mention that it was bad quality and audio in the description. It was my first video, and I really had no idea what I was doing, as I mentioned throughout. No, it is about The Doors, and I was sharing the research that I read on them to give my respect to them as a band. Thanks for the feedback, though.
Greetings ✨️🎼

Two of their tracks that I think you would love are "Light My Fire" and "Touch Me."
