Ok, right of the bat, we got a very violent, in-your-face intro, the lightning was a very nice touch for that. We then transition into this more clam, beautiful piece, accompanied by an equally finely crafted iconography of the artist. Then we jump right back into an incredible, fast paced, powerful, punk sound that erupts into a hopeful central melody with faint, just about audible vocals which compliment the energetic, zapping nature of the musical piece fantastically. We transition back into a calmer sound, played by sci-fi robotic synths and other electronic instrumentation which slowly begins to ramp back up towards the central, I guess you could call it the chorus of the piece. This is boss battle music, no two-ways about it. Absolutely brilliant, Magnificent Mag!
Nice! The first song I’ve heard of Carpenter Brut was actually this song. I was actually introduced to Carpenter Brut through the soundtracks of Hotline Miami. So many amazing songs from that game, really helped me get a GRIP(HLM2 reference)! His other songs like Hairspray Hurricane and Maniac are just amazing! This cover still has that same energy throughout it, just a little more darker! Glad to hear this cover as soon as it came out. Great work😁👍!
No way my current favorite Synthwave cover artist makes a cover of my all time favorite dark wave artist, what a time to be alive baby Edit:you absolutely nailed it with this cover! Not only you managed to keep you touch consistent and make it sound sooo wonderful but also you successfully made this song sound completely unique and I love it so much. Also the Image ist really well done and looks badass!!!
