Inside of HiLo Trailer Overlanding Truck

- This is the inside of the trailer that is attached to our Stewart and Stevenson M1088. It is a 1993 HiLo trailer. Many people have been wondering what the inside looks like, so here you go! We have not done any renovations on the inside because it was in amazing condition when we bought it recently. Our plan was to not do any until we needed to, but as time goes on, it sounds like a fun project. We'll see. We have replaced the skylight, installed two Dometic fans and had the windows tinted. Oh- and a NEW toilet! Enjoy!

I have the same truck, and this just solved the question for me too. I did not even know these trailers existed. Looking forward to watching MY wife climb that ladder...
They are awesome trailers! There is a HiLo forum/website that you can join where you will often hear of one for sale. Good luck on your build!

So funny. We always describe ours as a 70's log cabin inside. Ours is a 1978 hilo.

Hey there! Yes, it's definitely been a while! We are not super big on RUclips. But our Instagram page shows everything we are working on. We sold our big truck and now are in the middle of building a schoolie!

I just purchased a 1968 hi-lo camper, can you please tell me all of the major issues with these? There seems to be nothing on my model camper
Hi there! The only problem we seemed to have with ours was the top part of the trailer would lift most of the way up other than about two inches. We spent a lot of money having an "expert" replace and tighten all of the cables underneath and that still did not help. It was not a big problem but I like things "perfect". Lol! Congratulations on your new purchase!
@@amyskelton thank you, the one I bought currently is stuck up because the cables snapped, the previous owner screwed poles yo hold it up, I'm kind of at a loss when it comes to finding cables for it
