One key feature this bike has is it has RAM air-intake and NOBODY offers this in this sub 500cc segment. I'm just surprised to see people who post reviews on RUclips are unaware of it. Also Aprilia didn't advertise it my brother works on the assembly line for this bike that's why I know this.

    • @yousausage

That is cool but the power gain from ram air follows a square law directly correlated with velocity. The bike tops out at 120mph so the power gain will be negligible. Smart feature though.

This is actually great for markets like India. This is actually Aprilia's first mass produced bike in India. Yes, Aprilia India does mostly 125-150cc sporty scooters with Piaggio engines. This costs significantly less than CBU units and eats up the competition in its segment.

Bro you can trust made in India Bikes. In west bikes are for fun and wants. But in india it's a need. It's a necessary item and bikes have to cross high standards ie 'Indian roads' and heavy competition from Indian brands. In past few decades all these reasons forced the motorcycle industry in my country to make reliable and good bikes or otherwise face extinction.

There's really nothing game changing here. If anything they're late to the party. The new Ninja 500 and the CFMoto 450SS are already comparable options and cost less.

I have a ninja 500. Two of my best friends have an RS 457 and a Cfmoto 450ss. We all ride each other’s bikes all the time, and all 3 of us agree that the Cfmoto and RS 457 feels as premium as the other, while the Ninja 500 feels a little cheaper. For the price, I think the Cfmoto is the best package out of the three!

People in india complaining that the bike pulls to the left. Can you confirm?

The dash info is delayed by milliseconds.. See how you rev it at 2:50 and then the change gears after that. .. Typical india made bikes have delays in the dash .. Like the kawasaki dominar and rousers.

As for the price......not really a beginner bike. For the price of this you can have a CF Moto 675SS....a much better bike. What you're paying for is the name.

I have an opalescent one. Having nothing but problems with it to!! The reliability in the long run is very questionable. And I only have 900 miles on it. My ninja 400 has close to 8,000 miles and not a single problem! I’m selling my 457, never will I buy another aprilia bike again! The ninja 400/500 is a far more reliable bike.
