Amazing tutorial! Usually I stay away from thing that require too much counting because it’s hard for me but this was very easy to understand. And both boots came out the same which has not happened for me trying booties in the past lol thank you so much!

I have gone over and over the hdc back post and it's never 40 stitches at the end.... I don't know what im doing wrong. And it's always crooked never down the middle behind the boot..... I'm doing what you are saying but then I'm off a stitch at each round... are you sure your stitches are added up correctly.
I'm having the same problem I'm always two stitches short actually and it's never lining up. I think that's the problem I didn't put my first half double crochet in the first it

ok i found the way to make them in a bigger size ! a #4 hook and i crochet more loose than you so i'd say it does fit 3-9 months thank you so much for the well explain video !
Chantal Larcher glad you figured it out 👍. I do have a preteen for 3-6 month size but can’t fine time to video it yet. My 3-6 months pattern slightly different but changing hook size works too.

I am so frustrated! This is the only nice looking cowboy bootie I can find a video of and half the time I can't see where your putting the stitches. Please slow down and show where to put the starting stitch instead of assuming we know. The reason I came is to learn and all I did was get more frustrated. :(

I know what you are doing. You aren't putting a stitch into the same stitch that you chain one in. I hope that makes sense.
This pattern is written correctly I get 40 every time.

Hi Brenda, I do have tutorial for size 3-6 months. If you want bigger than 0-3 & 3-6 months, I do suggest to change crochet hook to 4.00mm

Do you give any measurements? Should the bottom of Boot be 3.5 inches? I checked the other video and you don't have size measurements on it either.
At the end of the video she measured the bootie. Was 3.5 inches.

I dont have a 3.00mm hook, I have a 3.125, a 3.50 and a 3.75 mm hook, which one should I use for the 0-3 month boots?
Hi Jennifer, you can use hook 3.25mm or 3.50mm. It's not that much different
