      Hey Mami, I actually just did this myself! In my case I was lucky enough to have an extra sample laying around and I just taped my label on the packaging and submitted that. If you can't get a hold of a sample however, you can always contact the lawyer and ask what your options are. Also since you haven't sold anything yet, your trademark will be filled as "Intent to use" and once you begin selling products you'll actually have to submit a few other things. I'd ask if you can wait until then to submit that file, and if not what your options are.

    Thank you! I'm having trouble getting my brand approved due to "violations" that resulted from these "hijackers" that you described. I have a patent, copyrights and a trademark for my product, but counterfeits were sold by other sellers from overseas resulting poor reviews. I've been working on this for over a year but keep getting denied by brand registry due to "policy violations," but they will not explain what the violations are in any detail or offer any support. I cannot get ahold of anyone in brand registry for help and my appeals get automatically denied. Do you have any tips?

    • @junglescout
      @junglescout  10 месяцев назад

      Hiya! The process would remain the same, you'll need to check for conflicts and then start the process in the UK to register your LLC/business and then the brand name, trademarks and patents you have.
      There is a slight difference in creating a brand and loge, anyone can do that. It's not 'official' or cannot be protected until the trademark process is in place/completed.

      Yes, that's correct. If you file a trademark through the Amazon IP Accelerator program, you can be enrolled in Brand Registry within two weeks. The IP Accelerator program is a partnership between Amazon and a select group of law firms with trademark law expertise. When you file a trademark through the IP Accelerator program, your law firm will work directly with Amazon to expedite the process. 😊

    Great video! Question: it says in Amazon's brand registry, that the trademark of my brand must appear on my products or packaging and that I must provide images that depict this. Does this mean I must have my supplier apply the brand name to my product and or create an original packaging for me?
    If the brand is only on the product, that means the product comes in a boring town box... As it's a bigger item, I would prefer it coming in a box stating my brand name. However, won't this be costly to ask the supplier to create an original brand box? Or is this even something I could ask them? Thanks in advance

    Is there a way for me as an Amazon affiliate to create a storefront not so much dedicated to one specific product or brand of products that belong to me, or that I myself invented etc.
    Instead what I want to do is create my own storefront that pulls together all of the products that I promote affiliate links to. Giving me the ability to organize them into as many groups as I would like on a more flashy storefront dedicated to my brand name/RUclips channel East tactics.
    Is there a way for me to do this? Your video here seems to more specifically showcase creating your own brand around products that you specifically own. But not so much organizing affiliate links and grouping together the whole world of Amazon into a special storefront that organizes all of my products that I represent.

      Hi Jeffrey! We're sorry for any confusion! So what they are referring to in this video is the IP Accelerator program of Amazon when you register for Amazon Brand Registry. IP Accelerator connects Amazon business owners to curated Intellectual Property (IP) attorneys who will help you with the trademark process.
      By choosing an IP specialist handpicked by Amazon, Amazon will approve your product for the Brand Registry before your trademark application is accepted.😊

      We recommend reaching out to an IP lawyer or expert to determine the full cost of filing the trademark. We do have a great article that can guide you here: www.junglescout.com/blog/trademarks-for-amazon-sellers/ ☺️

    You said 5% higher so 5 more sales per hindered. That's incorrect. A 5% increase on a say 2% conversion rate would be a CR of 2.1% (0.1% is 5% of 2%). What you described is an additional 5% conversion rate, not a 5% increase to conversion rate.

    You are oblivious to real world experiences. You assume that everybody just has thousands of dollars to throw around. If I could afford a trademark lawyer I wouldn’t be watching your video.
