The plane landed on the wrong side of the runway. 3. The videographer is the owner of a nearby shop, who started filming when he heard multiple explosions and saw the plane circling in a very short course. The tragic plane crash in South Korea, claiming at least 120 lives, is a devastating incident. Jeju Air's CEO's swift apology acknowledges the gravity of the situation, but thorough investigations and accountability are crucial. Our hearts go out to the victims and their families during this challenging time. Aviation safety must remain a top priority to prevent such tragedies...
Too many red flags, why were they no crew members on ground to stop or at least minimize the crash, why did the plane decide to land in that particular airport, why does the airport have a concrete wall?? Why is the runway so short?? The plane landed well given the situation, why no emergency crew on sight to help the plane in its landing?? May the souls of the departed rest in peace, amen.
1. Unclear yet if the airport authorities were aware of the severity of the situation (prior to the crash). 2. They wouldn't be able to do pretty much anything even if already present there. 3. Runway is not short - 2800m is considered medium to long and it's more than enough for the likes of 737 for all types of operation regardless of their weight- unclear where exactly on the runway they landed tho. 4. Because the aircraft was supposed to land there and the issue did happen in proximity of that airport? 5. Pretty much most airports have some radars at the very end of the runway if I'm not mistaken. They're called SMR - it appears that the issue of this particular one is that it was over engineered and had loads of concrete as a base - but surely following industry standards.
@@MandaClaudiuMCM the wall was what killed them, but then again he could have landed somewhere else and emptied the fuel, as safety comes first. I pray for the lost souls! I pray for the bereaved family! Amidst this Delicate and sensitive situation, i wish to appreciate the pilot for excellent workmanship in the attempt of landing the malfunctioning aircraft: Softest belly landing, maintaining perfect balance of the aircraft ensuring that the engine doesn't doesn't catch the ground which would have cartwheeled the entire plane. The pilot must be a braveheart to hold this composure till the end despite seeing death approaching in front of the eyes. Those surviving owe gratitude to the pilot. Those who sadly didn't make it, I'll put it as they ran out of place. Sorry that those effected will have to live with this for the rest of their lives.
I agree, it is terrifying. This shouldn’t happen on planes in the 21st century. There should be a manual way to deploy landing gear and a way to verify with ATC if it properly deployed. I am not an engineer, I am studying medicine, but Hell, if I keep seeing this I will switch my studies. I want to change the world to prevent unnecessary death by engineering a better system, or if someone else can do it better than I, that would be amazing. Something has to be done, it is horrible.
The pilot supposed to dumb the entire fuel if the landing gear couldnt deploy. This would avoid explosion. Secondly, ne needed a very long run way for this type of landing
all Pilots can land and take off plane safely but a good pilot is one who comes down in time of crises and not panicking, knows exactly what to do at every given point in time to me is the one i always called a Pilot
If a bird caused the crash it's amazing how a small bird can bring a giant bird down. So sad for the families of the passengers and crew that were killed.
I was thinking the same thing there has to be a way to design planes to prevent against bird strikes people shouldn’t die from birds it is actually insane and if no one does something I want to do something about it. I get you can’t block engines due to thrust but there has to be something to prevent it.

This is so incredibly sad. RIP to those amazing souls. They could’ve solved the landing gear malfunction, as you mentioned they plan for issues like landing gear malfunction to arise. They need to find a way to prevent birds from going into engines, we are in the 21st century.

Hi, I'm interested in starting to invest, but I'm not sure where to begin. Do you have any recommendations or contacts that could help?
It's wise to consult with experts when developing a strong financial portfolio because of its complexities.
The reality is that you won't achieve success without someone dependable like Naomi.
Naomi stands out because of her practical approach, unlike other brokers who often set unrealistic expectations and fail to meet them
If someone is honest and competent in their field, they will always receive recommendations. I value her transparency.
So, you all know her too? Her success story is widely recognized.

ATC warned them of a bird strike before landing and they were already calling mayday a minute later apparently.
A bird strike didn't cause this. No landing gear at all, they had other major problems going on.
