I was super chocked with all the dirty in the streets! The animal carcasses were the worst part! It’s interesting the cultural divergences, considering that I’m from Brazil which is also a developing country. I love all the history and the people though. They are very friendly. I’m glad we choose to go in the winter. Tomorrow we’ll be going to Luxor 😁
You will be super glad it's winter when you go to the valley of the kings because it was so incredibly hot there we could only stand to go in the morning.
im from luxor. you are completely right to say that. even luxor people suffer from horses and some bad manners from shops workers. main problem of luxor is poverty and ignorance. though it doesn't reflect as a small city the true face of modern Egypt. next time, hope you see change in luxor 🌹🌹
Appreciate your honesty both of you . Imagine i have lived in Europe for almost a decade yet i love Egypt as it is for a simple reason you have mentioned which is ancient structures are perfectly preserved because its not USA built last century and u started from scratch. My point is you were extra cautious because you were with a kid and pregnant as well which reflects your extreme precautions. Next time you can visit the modern cities which are as modern as USA and there you will seem to be bored easily
Hope you enjoyed this weird feeling in the 3 cities you visited lol To be honest when I visit Egypt I choose the city which I think to be suitable for my need if for people so Cairo and for history luxor and Aswan if I want to be chilling then its red sea cities and finally if for fancy life luckily its gonna be the new capital next year I will definitely watch you other videos Keep up with more detailed videos of other countries Cheers
First of all it was really great having u in Egypt :), but regarding the cultural shock Egypt is very big and there are places that look like European streets which was built long time ago and there are even better than Europe for example like the city that i live in (Madinaty) ruclips.net/video/q3RKDjCZKMo/видео.html and new touristic cities that contains skyscrapers that are the size of Chicago :) such as New Alamen city ruclips.net/video/r7khuKja-HQ/видео.html In general the country after the revolutions 2011 and 2013 things are getting way better very fast and they are working in different cities so what u are seeing will be completely different every year and this is why Egypt is expected in the top 10 economies 2030 ruclips.net/video/L5v9jt4__ho/видео.html Finally, regarding the Egyptian identity our race is not african or asian or Arab it is unique and contains so many civilisations :) , for me I do not like speaking arabic and this has become more common among youth + the arabic that the Egyptians are speaking is a mix between their previous languages such as coptic and hieroglyphics and arabic:) this is why once Egypt announces its second republic in few months they are now discussing removing the word Arab from the Name I wish u come again and see more things and places and have a delightful experience :)
Thank you! Yes we did experience more modern parts of Egypt later in our trip if you watch our other videos we discuss more about that! Egypt is certainly a diverse country. We were able to experience Sharm and Cairo after this. I find that interesting they want to drop the Arab name from the country. But i like that concept. I think Egypt has such a rich history the population is proud of it makes sense to embrace that uniqueness! If you want to see our final thoughts of our wonderful vacation to Egypt check out our most recent video! Thanks for the thoughtful comments! I hope you enjoy my other videos!
Your perspective of Luxor was very interesting from a newcomer point of view, so thank you for that. But will you allow me to make one point? It's a bit of a hobby horse of mine....sorry! I think this is especially important for travel-type videos. Your choice of 'landscape' or 'portrait' format for filming! 95% of the time the landscape or horizontal perspective of the camera is by far the better option for all filming. It's designed for TV screen format for a start, and all you have to do is turn your camera/phone through 90 degrees!! In your choice of portrait or upright footage, you are actually losing two thirds of your hard fought-for picture. What a shame!! Nevertheless, your video is an entertaining and valuable resource for travellers who might be new to Egypt - well done!
Yeah that's a sad part of it. The people that rip people off tend to justify it in their minds by believing everyone is rich. Beware of the tourist areas!
anywhere in the world we might encounter unuhnest n bad people . ... n Egypt 's nt an exception . ....,dd u try Molookhia . ... it's a popular dish at Egypt 🇪🇬 . . . ....!
@@3rdPlanetTravels you needs to watch your own video again and you'll realize that you have complained almost abouts everything. I don't want to talk about America's dirty laundry if you know what I mean, because I'm not in a mood for that. But you had to pay 30c for a bottle of water wow, that's too much wealthy Americans, $10 for a taxi that's crazy "outrageous" If all the tourists like you who needs them. Fort Myers, Florida
Wow...not sure why your so upset about us talking about our vacation and the price of things. Not sure what you expected. Not sure what your so offended about?🤔 Or what that has to do with America's "dirty laundry" 😂
@@3rdPlanetTravels we must learn how to respect and appreciate other people's cultures and way of living. That's why everyone hates us because we want McDonald as soon as we landed and around every corner like back home.
At no point was I disrespectful. You're the one being offended for them. Not one Egyptian has commented about being offended. Every comment before yours was incredibly positive and kind just like they were in person.

We still loved our time in Luxor. It's a beautiful city with amazing historical site!

Looks like your girl had even more fun than you did ... bless her 😍
She definitely had fun. She was a great traveler. i think she liked Shark the best for all the pools we went to 😂
How did you get around without a car seat?

They really try to take advantage of wealthy tourists. Which is quite a big problem when you’re not rich and your income is in a weak currency

Very true. You have to be careful everywhere. No I don't think we tried that
You have wasted my time, you should stay home "in your comfort zone" and never travel again. Stop complaining please
Uhhhh...that seems unwarranted. What did we complain about???
