"miss Kathy ! you smell good", "wow" (nose high,trying to catch it), and my sweetest comment of all... "miss Kathy, you smell like old cookies" !! ( lol lol). These kids will remember me forever I think.. I smelled lovely and always had fireballs (candy) to give them.☺
This has been my signature scent since 2002! 18 years later I still love it, even though I've replaced it with Lust by Lush for a couple of years, now I'm back to my good old Kenzo Jungle. Your review is spot on, as always!
I've worn this perfume for 20 years. It's wonderful, l love a strong heady distinctive confident scent that's sexy and lasts and keeps smelling better by the hour, this is it. Its my favourite. There really is nothing on the market quite like it. Everytime l wear it people compliment it and ask what it is. My favourite perfumes I've worn for 30+years are Miss Dior, Coco Chanel, Guerlain Samsara, Dior Hypnotic Poison, Chanel no 5, Kenzo Jungle L'Elephant, Le Vie Est'Belle intense, and Dior Addict. I don't usually deviate from these because nothing new is as good as them, but l am trying out a bit of Victor and Rolf Flowerbomb which is quite nice too but still haven't decided if it makes it into my favourite always buy list. Good review l was smelling my jungle as you were speaking agreeing with you.
This is one of the few best oriental/spicy i have ever smelled. I am using for many years niche perfumes but appart Nishane-Ani none blew me away. I have ordered it again after about 20 years. The spices here are perfection in my opinion😊 I love clove

I just got this scent yesterday from Scentbird and OMG, when I sprayed it I was in clove/cinnamon heaven. I am definitely getting the bigger bottle and yes, it does smell like Christmas. Let me know if you've picked it up.. Awesome review!! Stay awesome!!

Great review! When I tried Jungle L'Elephant the first time, I was more into floral fruity aquatic stuff. The clove and cumin blast at the beginning got me hooked right away. It was a revelation!
I bought this, smelled it through the package and instantly called the company I bought it from and asked for a shipping label to send it back for a refund. They asked why? And I said it STINKS! They said ok, we are doing a refund to your account now but the company that provided it said no refunds so you can just keep it. I asked him what the heck I was suppose to do with this junk? And did he want it? He said no, just gift it or do whatever you want. So I got my refund and then decided I may as well open it now since I have to keep it. One spray and 10 mins later and I’m IN LOVE with it!!! Completely unexpected. Now I’m conflicted because I already got my money back and the free bottle. What to do??......it’s absolutely gorgeous you just have to wait it out.
I had the same reaction when I first sprayed it just into the air because I was already wearing something, but I had just gotten it and wanted to smell it. My gosh I was shocked in a not good way. It smelled so bizarre to me! I could only think of an old stale scented candle. I was horrified at the idea of having that smell on my skin. But realizing how different scents can be on the skin and after they dry down, I gave it a shot a couple of days later. Now I absolutely love it. The opening to me has a bit of a prune jammy sweetness that I don't love, but just giving it time it turns into something amazing. I'll always have a bottle of this, I love it.
I think it smells more of incense than a candle. I've had a mini of this for awhile now and it's so unique, so well-blended, and just lovely! It's not very gourmand on me, it's definitely oriental spicy. It's one of my favorites. :)
This is the most accurate review of this perfume that I’ve seen. I blind bought this and I was under the impression that it smells only spicy. This is definitely a gourmand spice and reminds me of Christmas! I’m excited to wear this for the fall/winter season.

Hi thomas , finally i got kenzo jungle , its a plume syrup with a hint of cinnamon , similer to elie saab girl of now with a little dash of peach flavour .
I got my sample of Jungle L'elephant today and there is a slightly sour note in it that keeps me from not being sure I like it. Maybe it will grow on me. Darn it! I wanted to like it. I would like to add a soft spicy perfume to my collection but this one may be too much.
You should try Curve Crush. Ment to smell like chai tea. Lots of good reviews on Fragrantica. There also a Chai Anise perfume from bath&bodyworks. Hard to find though...
A stunning fragrance - a colleague at work wears this and she always smells freaking amazing. She rocks it all year round (it's Scotland lol) Dang! Wish I had got in first :-) When I first joined the Company I (like all good perfume detectives) started the interrogation. I had to know what this scent was! This smell is now hers, but couldn't resist getting a bottle that I can enjoy at home and nights out not work-related lol. I sampled it years ago in an airport and just like you, it didn't grab me, although it should have as it ticks every box for me. Now I have become so familiar with it, its warmth and spicey comfort takes me to Christmas's past. Snow begins to fall gently on Christmas Eve as we gaze out of the window, an iced tia maria in hand, presents are wrapped and Santa is on his way! (This only happened one year, but hey ho, its a beautiful memory). The bottle is a piece of art - an added bonus! I bought this recently and when I first sniff this it smell so strong and Honestly I hate it.... 😐...... it smell weird to me.... but after a while this is really nice.... I dont why but I cannot stop smelling my own wrist
It really doesn't, They couldnt be more opposite in fact. This one is a spiced vanilla and kinda like soft cinnamon, and mitsouko is a fruity peach mossy perfume.

Whoa a free bottle of perfume! Lucky you. You must have a very sensitive nose if you could smell it through the sellophane and box.

I get loads of Vanilla, spicy sweet vanilla from this, very strong and stays with you for hours, lovely 😊

I've searched for this one, it sounds so good. It's hard to find though. There is a .17 oz mini for sale on ebay for $15. Might have to pick it up. :)

Yes the opening is weird for sure...it's a string spicy vanilla kinda thing but once it settles it's cool! :)
They say to just spray ONE spray and it last 12 hrs or more
