Meniere's for individuals can be described as similar to the differences people feel about music; meaning its symptoms can oftentimes be simply how the individual reacts and or is susceptible to the early onslaught of the disease. As well as what support systems are available and or how the general surround (people in your area) react. Even Corporate America (people who hire you) seems to recoil from the disease and it's intermittent episodes/attacks - many are understandable.
In a discussion such as this video, Menieres seems easy to explain and not overly complicated yet the medical establishment agrees it's incurable and IMO helpful treatments are non-existant or rare; if they're being honest.
I tell people this... spin in circles for 10+ minutes and then try to do anything without an issue; noting, you've spun around knowingly (on purpose). Then, realise this, feeling like that at any moment with minimal (at best) notice... and having it last 1- 36 hours!! Yes Meniere attacks can be sporadic even sparse... yet like a monster under your bed... it will get you and it will derail your day, your life (job, family, aspirations) and this is where it's an individual thing... your psychological mindset and ability to recover and or move on.
For me, my longest attack was 30 hours with a 3 day period to get my equilibrium back. * I'm going on 11 years as I type this. My life was incrementally destroyed to the point I eventually lived in Subsidized Housing with ZERO Income for 3.5 years. I rebounded and found out how to outmaneuver this (nuisance?) by doing stuff that worked for me.
With the help of Disability 11/2017 (took 7 years to obtain) and because I am extremely resilient and positive... I currently thrive and am grateful for things I can do [yet] Corporate America won't even discuss hiring me. * I have $135k education and an impressive 25 year resume including was a Marine... the latter things basically ended for me at 45 years old.

Have your symptoms changed or diminished from what they were when you first got hit with this? I've suffered with it for about 2 years now, and it's pure hell (as you of course know). In some respects I think the ear fullness/loss of hearing is even worse then the vertigo, which while awful it usually doesn't last that long. But the ear fullness/loss of hearing/roaring tinnitus is almost constant now. It didn't used to be.

@@zacworld2061 Meniere's is the "Boogie Man" disease; at this point in my life, it waits until the timing seems most inappropriate!! But the reoccurrences have been much less.
My personal battle has been more or less one of understanding what actually brings about episodes. Which for me is based 80% on my mind-set adding taking the time learning to cope.
Mind over matter? = not really! being accepting and prepared seems to be most helpful. NO FEAR = #1!!
Find your limitations yet be prepared to have attacks while doing so. Mental attitude is also key... it's going to happen... so go with the episode. * It sucks but what are your options? You "WILL FIND" what triggers the bulk of your attacks after time! Ouch!!! (then in my case)... fewer issues happen as I know my basic limitations. Good Physical Health (for me) has been an important factor yet note that (for me) too extreme of work-out/exercise is also bad. WTH!?! * I find bike riding (20 miles plus) and very simple (EASY!!) workouts to be best; maybe some daily stretching as well.
Sad but True!! Unless your Meniere's stops altogether, realize that you will be a victim! I have gotten to the point where I pretty much think of my attacks like I would think of Meditation. If you're not moving (for me) what actually is the problem other than the symptoms? Ha!! I visualize myself being a Monk and this episode as Meditation. ~no joke!!
Ears/Tinnitus/Hearing Lose/Fullness? I feel you but there is really nothing to do. I listen to soundscapes when I go to bed (I make them myself; I'm a computer geek so I go to youtube ...find and then make what I need).
      ~PEACE!!

@@discussdebate Thanks man, I really appreciate all the info. I've been doing everything the doctor is telling me to do (i.e. cut wayyyyy back on salt, eliminated caffeine, take a diuretic, etc) but like you said it still doesn't stop this crap from hitting me at seemingly random times. I too listen to soundscapes at night (usually stream sounds or crickets from RUclips), and it does help to mask most of the tinnitus. Still trying to figure out what else to do to hopefully cut down on the frequency of the attacks. Guess I'll find that (maybe) over time.
I wish you the best with your struggles with this, and again thanks for your reply. Namaste!! :)

I couldn’t stay 2 months not able to perceive or taste anything and with ringing on my both ears…I quickly used a herbal supplements from Dr Madida and I got my lost sense of smell, loss of taste back and all the buzzing, disturbing sounds inside my ears 👂👂all stopped.

The healing rate of my Tinnitus the very first time I apply and use Dr Madida medicine gave me a good impression that it is gonna work and it did work because right now I don't longer experience Tinnitus Effects anymore that I use to experience because the conditions is completely gone.

What does a person do if they have electrolyte imbalance...low sodium and potassium...but I'm supposed to stay away from sodium... Is there a alternative?

I personally do not believe that low sodium helps in any way!! Doctors practice medicine... yet few will admit that they simply do not know what will help!! ~ I just wrote Zeke in this post above.
