@Robin_Sena thats not at all what happened. He was betrayed, beaten, and left vulnerable numerous times. Only after the death of his brother did he truly realize what he could do with his gift. A gary stu doesn’t follow any of these. They’re perfect from the start, universally loved, and never EVER lose a fight. Delsin lost a lot of battles.
"If military will regain control, what makes you think things won't return to 'Good old days'?" - "No, No, I am going to expose you, and your deception and then we will see who the real protector is." - "I can't let you do that!" - "And i won't let you stop me!"
I'm sure this would be a lot of people if they were an entity in the area at the time, "AYO FUCK YOU BITCH! NONE OF THIS WOULDA HAPPENED IF YOU JUST COOPERATED!"
Notice how in most games it'll give you the option to spare the boss after the fight. While in second son, you decide whether you're killing Augustine or sparing her before fighting her? I feel like this goes to show just how decisive Delsin has become with whatever karma he was going with as he picks what he wants to do. It's his final choice and he *will* go through with it in the end.
Eugene: delsin this is all could find Delsin: that's all I'm gonna need thanks Eugene Eugene:my pleasure delsin get that witch Delsin: that's the plan Chief
Man, this fight. It really was something else. Having to learn how your powers worked on the fly, AND learn how to avoid the boss, it was a rush. While yes, the powers share the same core theme of "Light attack, heavy attack, rockets, etc" each one feels different. Concrete has always been one of my favourites, but Smoke's the one I associate most with Del.
@@superlombax1561 and that’s why it is good. It was not super challenging, but the whole game wasn’t either. It was visually very interesting, fast paced, and a good display of all the concrete skills, and the build up throughout the game, i wanted to kick her ass as soon as she first appeared, and I wasn’t disappointed. I have only played this game for the first time two months ago, it became one of my all time favourites, and I don’t even like much the first and second games
@@rfh9560 Yeah, I can definitely get that. Honestly, it's not the challenge that I don't like it, but moreso that of all the powers you obtain over the course of the game, you're only locked into one for the entire final fight. Regardless of the story reasons, it still kinda sucks. Not to mention that you only get like four abilities for Concrete in total, so there's not even as much variety in attacks and maneuvers you can pull off either for that last battle. At least with the Beast in Infamous 2, you could use all your powers even though there isn't much need for it since he's literally the same fight from the beginning of the game.
It lacked movements, agustine could have like grabbed you and thrown you out when you empty her health bar, then a second phase starts, where you fight outside (on the roof of the tower or rooftops in general) and she has a ton of health and a lot of moves but you get helped by eugene and fetch, and, when you jump, boost and use the concrete running you turn into a ball, so it would be cool if after certain damage you stagger augustine and you can like double boost and crash on her with the concrete ball
I made a rough version of it reach out and I can send you a version of the main distortion riff I don’t play bass do I’m not sure on that but it sounds good I’ll link a video of it being played tomorrow compared to original

*at the end of game, delsin encases Augustine in concrete* yeah, im told that hurts. COLD AS SHITT IM FUCKING SHIVERING
Augustine: "Only thing is I've had seven years to practice."
Me: "Well I'll kick your ass in seven minutes."
Yeah that I said to someone who can copy powers and abilities.
"and i got 7 layers of plot armor to beat you"
And I...I have the entire Touhou universe so get comfortable because you will be nothing but ash
@Robin_Senahow is that gary stu? He struggled the entire game. What are you on about?

Couldn't think of a better final boss fight theme then this, it's absolutely grand.
There's definitely better out there, but this is very fitting for the boss fight in Second Son
bruh the final boss sound like Normal Enemy You is the boss fight cuz you is the only one that can mastering all of the powerIn second
Augustine: NO! NO! NOOOOO!
Delsin: Yeah... I'm Told That Hurts
2:41 This part always sells me the song 🔥
4:33 is absolutely fire too
Augustine is an amazing villain, she makes you hate her in less than 2 minutes at the start of the game

Honestly in this fight I was still blinded by the rage of reggies death.
I did spare though

The first time anyway

This was the final showdown for platinum, hero on extreme difficulty, it was cool af.

I’m playing second son again but I’m trying to do a no kill play through
gl with that, cause you might end up killing one unknowingly, cause the game doesn't tell you when you kill someone on good karma
YourFellowMemester yeah and the game doesn’t have a restart from checkpoint either
@@infamousprequel7901 The people you killed show up as Gray on the mission end screen. Blue means subdued, red means you assaulted them.
guess that means no chain melee or rocket use at all, and then there's the choppers..
