From 18:14 to 18:26 (about 12 seconds) on the rear panel tutorial, there was a B-Roll piece showing the light’s DC power jack that was lost in the video edit timeline. So, just ignore it. My bad.
thank you, thanks to you swapping my light setup from QS400II strobes that my wife finds hard to use to 1200Dx3 + sd200r as a keylight. video and some studio photography. really hope it works out well :)
Hi thanks for this review! How does this compare against the Godox SZ150R? Which do you think is better and would recommend?? Your input is highly valued, thanks in advance for letting me know.
The SZ150R, the 5600K is spot on while the SD200R is warm at that color. On the SD200R, you just have to adjust to around 6500 to get 5600K. I can’t specify for sure about brightness because I’d have to get both and setup just for that which I don’t have the time for, but they’re both bright. The SZ150R has more FX if that’s something you care. Price is almost the same on both lights. Between the two, I’d have to go with the SZ… Well, based on the above, I guess only you can decide… I hope that helps?
@@ArtVideoProductions I see ok thanks for your input. I am leaning toward the SZ150R but just saw that there is a GVM Double Head 300 Watt version. Have you had a chance to test this double head 300W version?
I've seen some reviews of the SZ150R and some users stating it's not bright enough and would be curious how it would fare against the GVM double head 300 watt RGB??
@@nikkoarnado1878 yes the ST-300R is a great choice. I love that light. ruclips.net/video/dFTc9ij8QRQ/видео.html. Also, the YU300R which I also reviewed. It’s easy to find on my channel.
That’s correct. I don’t know if you noticed but I put a caption on that in the video when I was turning the knob. Make sure your cell phone is on airplane mode or far, far away from the SD200R.
@@Bo_Hazem ST200R is a very cool, dual sided light, 200 watts, and 200 watts PER SIDE! And has a ballast to connect to. The SD200R, no ballast, it’s 200W all LEDs mixed into one chip.
@@ArtVideoProductions Yup, that was my expectation. Is it sitting around so we can see a test and how different in power/lux at different ranges? I think many would appreciated. Thanks again for your extraordinary work!
ABSOLUTELY. I compared both, the 150-S I found it to be a bit weak for a 150 watt light as I have other 150 watt RGBs here, and the LEDs on the new lights and software is much better as well. I forgot to add… if you still need RGB, get the SD150R. It’s a lot brighter than the old 150-S

Learning a lot from you man, thanks
Thank you so much 🙂
At this point, what light would you recommend with roughly the same or better features?
There’s some weird noise when you spin the knob or press buttons in master/slave mode. Like interference directly.

150w RGB or this one which is better option if around same price
Thank you. Very thorough as always!
Thank you very much. And thank you for always watching my content 😊
I can feel the brazilian accent... Otimo conteudo amigo. Parabens
I'm getting confused here. What's the power-consistency difference between ST200R and SD200R? They're kind of similar to me to some extent.
As you can see, at 21:11 the SD150R needs to set to 38% to have the same brightness output of the SD200R set to 10%. It’s about 25% brighter.
@@ArtVideoProductions I meant S"T"200R vs SD200R.

Would you say this is a good upgrade from the RGB-150S?

How do you repair the light if it stops working?
In the App, on settings, you’ll find GVM contact info.
What would you say the actual watts are at true daylight (7100k) ??
Watts have nothing to do with color temperature. And daylight is 5600K
