Thank you so much for your help… I feel like I just came into contact with herpes and I just got tested. I fear I might not have the antibodies to show a positive. How my times should I get tested if I remain asymptomatic
It could take up to 6 months to test positive, if you got it. In rare cases, it could take even longer. So, unless you experience an outbreak, there's no way of doing it early and be sure. Try taking it easy!
Hello, my friend had a blistering cold sore in which the scab just came off. She gave me some fries off her plate by scraping them off with her utensils, do you think it's likely ive contracted it? Thanks
I shared a drink off my friend and shared a joint with her but she didn't tell me she had herpes 1 until today. But she didn't have an outbreak on her lips ? Will I still get it ?
Your channel is so wholesome. I started following yesterday. Thanks for being so open 🤗

If the sore was already healing, probably not. It's not common to transmit like that, but it is possible

Unlikely
What about if you don’t have an outbreak on your lips
If the drink does not come in contact with herpes, then you cannot transmit
So does this mean if a friend of mine doesn’t have blisters on her lips share a drink on a straw with me I’m good ?
Can you hug people?
Of course. Hugging doesn't transmit herpes. It has to be skin to skin: wherever you have an outbreak that's where you're contagious.
Those herpes hurt in the head?
Not really.
