Selectivity
The video instructions isn't very clear. Firstly the consumer unit should face the front, not upwards for easy viewing.
At 4.36 it never shows the complete wiring circuit of the red and black wire to the incoming of the rcbo

Just connect resistor calculated by (R=V/I) on series with line out of rcbo/rcd and earthing. There is a video on RUclips channel named Electroboom which you probably know with video titled 'Power Outlets in United Kingdom' and move on to 8:56 mark time to know how he tested RCD/RCBO. But, just be careful with wires while testing.
If you don't want to work with bare wires then you can simply make a series circuit as said inside 3 pin plug. And you can use that plug to test rcd every month or so and don't have to go to rcd directly to press that test button. At first you will know the tripping value later you can use it to test rcd condition. But, never connect that circuit for long time just 1-2 seconds. Make sure you connect resistor on series with live-earth and not live-neutral or neutral-earth.

Only ELCB needs Earth connection. It is an old technology and is less effective. RCCB and RCBO have no terminals for Earth connection.

Important note: Please get a licensed wire-man/electrician to do this installation.
To determine which is the outgoing cable for the water heater, please check the continuity using multi meter. Or sometimes, the load is labelled at the enclosure itself, so select the load for the water heater.

@@jetli6959 Due to their nature, submersible elements eventually leak some current. Earthing is very important.
@@teravolt1195 Not if you are using a good branded and genuine RCD - which have Anti Nuisance-Tripping feature. If it really trips, be thankful cause you could have died.
