There are lots of videos dedicated to improving listening skills or to translation from English into Italian, but there aren't this kind of exercises, very very useful for English learners. You gotta pass through these kind of tests if you’re up to get your english better, it’s natural to make some mistakes…….when I landed down in the USA my first time (fifteen years ago or even longer) my english was penurious, a real disaster and I begged to speak spanish that was fluent and pro efficient in that period of time, now my spanish when I speak is no longer fluent as before, but fortunately I can still understand it very well. However on the other side in England by staying there a couple of years I improved a lot my pro efficiency, although certain idioms and slangs were and still are my weakness and when I landed down in the UK my english was just a basic, a B1 or something, in addition many vocabs were unknown for me.

personalmente, a parte qualche forma grammaticale, non ho trovato test difficile per chi ha dato la B2 e l'ha passata, forse è sempre il lessico a rendere il test un po' più tosto.

8/10. Ovviamente, non ho mai tradotto con phrasel verbs, perché non ho tutto questo lessico. Avevo pensato a by chance e alle forme più semplici. Confermo che è leggermente sopra a un B2( le forme sul future perfect e future perfect continuos non ricordo che fossero in programma), tranne la frase sui figli educati, che secondo me è da B1. Onestamente sulla frase del parrucchiere avrei usato have, perché mi ricordo che si usi proprio per indicare specificatamente che hai usufruito di un servizio da parte di un professionista. So anche che si usa per raccontare esperienze negative che sono accadute, come un furto per esempio.
Non sono d'accordo. Una cosa non esclude l'altra, anzi! La vera differenza non è tra inglese scolastico e non, ma tra insegnanti bravi e non. Dove insegnino conta ben poco.

Thank you Jo, I got an interesting insight from this video. I've been perfectly capable of translating every single sentence properly. However, I realized that many of them would never come to my mind in everyday speaking. Since I only speak English at my workplace, it would be awesome to achieve such language proficiency while speaking fluently.
Vero, quando si dice che il writing e listening sono una bomba in confronto allo speaking. Anche a me capita spesso, so molte cose, poi quando devo parlare di tutte queste nozioni ne vengono fuori poche 😭 è l'esercizio di speaking che manca in questo caso
The key is to find a way to speak the language a little bit but EVERY DAY - this is also a type of English that is conditional to whoever is speaking it and most of these terms I've personally heard used WILDLY differently while talking to my friend circle (whom are all American) or metaphorically. If you manage to get a hold of a circle of people that only speak in English and write in English, you'll soon find out that "textbook British-Englsh" is a fraction of what is taught to you lol
