I’m 22 and into those spicy + vanilla fragrances, and I love Spicebomb Extreme. I remember first trying it in a Sephora and knew the hype was for me. This, CK One Shock (Cheapie), Burberry London (Cheapie), Dior Homme Intense, Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privee, and Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club are my biggest go-tos in the winter.
All amazing fragrances and lend themselves to the cold winter weather. DHI is my personal favorite from that list!
By the fireplace maison margeilla is a great addition if you’re into spicy chestnut
I’m 100% with you on this Gerard! I own Spice & Black Vanilla, MIB, & Infrared. As a result, I’ve never pulled the trigger on picking up Spicebomb Extreme. I’m an older guy that prefers more mature scents and generally navigate towards frags I feel comfortable wearing to the office. Unless I come across this for a great price, like at a rack store, I don’t ever see myself owning a bottle.
Thats where and WHY I grabbed my bottle. Good price at the rack. Its nice but like you I prefer the more mature takes.
It's worth the hype. It's personally my favorite fragrance
Gerard, I love Spicebomb Extreme by Viktor&Rolf in the Fall & Winter. It is one of the best designer scents in the colder weather. I also love Bvlgari Man In Black in the colder weather as well. Great video as always.

Solid winter standby!
Picked up Spice and Black Vanilla this past Monday from Walmart. Did a couple of test sprays on skin and I was impressed. This fragrance is designer quality that punches way above it's $20 pricetag. I thought Blue Cedar and Cypress by Cremo was good, but Spice and Black Vanilla is greatness on a different level. Glad that my local Walmart had it in stock and I was finally able to add it to my collection. Can't wait to rock this fragrance to a Steelers home game in December.
Mac it really is damn good. Of the 3 I mentioned in the video, my wife prefers it over all of them.

CK one Shock still has me using it constantly. I have tons of different fragrances and I always reach for the cheapies

Sephora has several frags from this line on the shelf. After using Spicebomb and Spicebomb Extreme from the store a few times -- the last two times side by side, I found I liked the original EDT better and found a 90 ml for $50, so... Also grabbed Infrared EDT 50 ml for $45 which has a lot of awesome "red" notes, and Nightvision EDP 90 ml for $72 (through the Sephora sampler). Eau Fraiche is on my decant wishlist, but would blind buy for the right price. Extreme is still too expensive for me to buy something so redundant in my collection.

I have Cremo Black spice and vanilla the solid version for a few years. Month ago I bought V&R Spicebomb...never smelled before.
And to my nose they are pretty similiar, I tought spicebomb will be a new experience to me, but they are the same and cremo is a fraction of price.
They are very close. The cremo is a bit fresher to my nose. I actually did a video comparing the two.

I’ve been layering this with a vanilla bean roll on oil with four sprays of sb extreme, three on the chest one on the back of the neck. it makes this vanilla rye whiskey smell… sensational. 💯 lasts 9 hours too

Haven’t smelled Spicebomb Extreme but love the OG. I had and sold Spice & Black Vanilla because it was ‘meh’ for me. Definitely need to revisit MIB because I remember liking it when I sampled it at a duty free a long time ago. Nice breakdown!

Hey Gerrard, Spice Bomb Extreme is without a doubt my most positively complimented fragrance. It’s annoying when your wife doesn’t like a fragrance. I have a similar scenario with Dior Homme Intense which I bought a big 150ml bottle and struggle when to wear it.
I can see this being a big compliment getter. Steve I feel you on the DHI. My wife thinks its just ok.
My wife also don’t like Dior homme intense.. I just wear it anyways 😶🤣

Whats edt and edp means ?
I tried it at Saphora and it just smells like old Church to me....and thank God it didn't perform because I couldn't stand it. Love your content 🤝

I have the red, the green edp and the original. I. Like the original the best. I find it to be smoother and just generally more pleasant.
The OG is great very wearable and versatile in most situations.
Great…Honest Review! I agree that Spicebomb Extreme is good only for Winter but…Spicebomb infrared is much better for Winter!!! SB Infrared is almost Perfect for Winter. SB Infrared smells like Christmas in a bottle.

This one's on my radar. I got spicebomb night vision edt and its longevity is 2-3 hrs at most. Very pleasant but weak performance with SB night vision edt.

Hey G, do you end up returning any/a lot of the perfumes that you purchase? I'm really curious about whether you do, or if you don't mind having a massive collection of pretty decent fragrances.
If a fragrance doesn't meet high standards for me, I generally return em'.
Occasionally I will Jack and just get a store credit for something else but that’s usually if I really can’t recommend something or use for future content. I also give some away. I sort of have a system in the sense I rotate things in and out but I’ve noticed I’ve gotten rid of less over the last 6 months. I’m due for a cleaning haha.

I like it! Its a more wearble, fresher take on the DNA. Really nice scent.
I bought Spicebomb Extreme about 8 months ago without smelling it first. I was not impressed at all. Then while watching this vid I sprayed it on my wrist and damn it smells much MUCH better from the first time I sprayed it!!!! I’ll say that my atomizer is garbage on mine which is quite common sad to say. Sprays big droplets
Sometimes you just gotta give a fragrance some time. It’s happened to me as well so I don’t like to give up on a fragrance immediately. Glad you like it!
Bvlgari Man in Black is October in a bottle if you live in New England. Spicebomb Extreme is more playful and I found it kind of boring. The MIB is more serious and complex. You are 100% correct!

Azzaro wanted by night is way better and lasts longer and is so smooth and a complement beast, I've had both and both are great but would go for the Azzaro 100%

I'm wondering if it is worth picking up Initio Rehab if you already have SB Extreme. I've heard Rehab has more depth and wearability and is more likable overall.
When I tested Rehab all I could think about was this they are too close for me to own both.
Does it have similarities with tom ford tobacco vanille? I saw that the scent profiles are same and am thinking of buying this over TV to save few bucks
Not really to my nose this is far more spice than the TF

Man I can't get enough of this scent. I just want to eat myself because I smell so good. Easily became my favorite. That vanilla when it settles gives you that warmth with that spice 🔥 Idk about you but this is definitely super masculine and sexy and gives me that confidence. Never understood what girls meant when they love gourmand scents but this is what they mean when they say something is sexy. Because they literally want to eat you as do I. I would say this scent can wear you if you are skinny so more recommended for masculine guys or pack a little more muscle

Le Male Le Parfum! More complex and more versatile!
I personally like Le Parfum but more but its not as vanilla heavy as spicebomb.. You may want to try Givenchy Gentleman EDP as well.

I've never had one compliment wearing this. Yet i have some cheapos and get compliments. I put 4-5 sprays on and i cant smell after 4-5 hours.

Hype or no hype, Spice Bomb Extreme works for me, lasts a long time and I get more compliments wearing this than anything else I've used.

Mine wasn't in your face powerful. I found it to be only slightly spicy and not too sweet. Didn't find that it projected all that well either. But I liked the scent. Typically like a better attention grabber for Fall and Winter. This is fine, it's very good, but way overhyped and not great. Going to try Man In Black after your mention.
Yes definitely try Man In Black. Its my favortite of the two.

I stayed in bunker hill last winter walked to a bar I think the tavern at the end of the world an I had the fragrance with me I remember getting few compliments that evening it worked out pretty good for me that night they had live band playing an tons of Celtics fans😂

Wife and I went Black Friday shopping. I saw Spicebomb Extreme at Sephora. I tried it and thought it was awesome. Wife couldn't stand it, "it's too strong", she said. I sprayed it on my wrist. They were out of stock. On the way home my wife smelled it again and thought it was great. Ordered it online and saved money.
Nice! Yea its always good to try a fragrance a couple times. There have been fragrances that my wife has hated at first then comes around to it.
I do get a headache from spicebomb extreme. What ingredient could it be that causes that?
Its just super strong. More likely a aroma chemical that just doesn't agree with you. Its not uncommon.
I dont get the greatest performance from SB Extreme. Its moderate, get about 6 hours, but people rave like its an 18+ hr scent. My bottle is from 2022, though I do enjoy the scent in cold weather. Fellow Masshole 😊

Alright, at least you gave some alternatives. Not a bad vid I guess but the title was click baity lol since you ended up recommending it anyway. SBE is a staple for a reason and I still feel that way - the only thing that can compete with it is Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille and who is paying that price just to compete with something just nearly as good, if not better? Tbh I like the scent profile of SBE more because it's even more masculine than the Tom Ford. Which just even feels weird to type, but that's just how good SBE is. Like I said, it punches way above its price point and the performance is still phenomenal. The only thing I own in my collection that outperforms the SBE is Tom Ford's Ombre Leather. And that stuff won't come off of your clothes for MONTHS so yeah, definitely a skin-scent for Ombre

Totally agree with your point of it being super straightforward and plain. Personally, Id only reach for it for it's longevity and projection. Smell wise, Herod by PDM is better

For me cremo spice & black vanilla doesn’t smell like SBE at all it smells more like the original spice bomb
At times it does the same for me then I get extreme it’s back and forth.
How long spicebomb extreme lasts ?
I get a full days wear on skin but will last days on clothes
For me, Natura Homem Tato gives me the same benefits and is much cheaper

The og is best to my nose. Typical when it comes to fragrances. ..opening on extreme is great, then gets sweet tobacco, like a whethers original in a smokers purse. It is likeable, not for hot weather. That's my opinion.

Just to clarify I could care less personally about batches. I think its WAAAAYYYY overblown. If you like the smell that's all that matters.
@@gerardgeorge Here's the thing, the newer batches do perform weaker and if all reviewers made that distinction, the viewers would save money by not purchasing it anymore or to at least seek out the older batches to avoid disapointment.

As for experiences? Man, girls act really funny when I wear this scent profile lol must be the vanilla and tobacco. You get the overly playful "touch" at work where they just rub all over you and stuff. This fragrance really brings this out of them in the cold weather. Perhaps you might not like it because you oversprayed it that one time...just two is enough, even for the winter time. So I don't even know what a "light spray during the summer time" would even be like lol - mine only gets use in cooler weather tbvh unless I'm feeling frisky

That said, I love Man In Black as well, but I think they're pretty distinct from each other. When people say they're identical I just don't get it. There are some similarities sure, but I could easily tell them apart.

Solid scent. I like man in black over both but it’s definitely closer to the OG Spicebomb than the extreme. My favorite sb is infrared.
