I usually don’t watch your tutorials only to learn about how to make a certain beat. I am usually satisfied how you break it down along with the sounds you provide us too. U make these tutorials interesting
Nice lil groove you created. We need more producers showcasing NEW Westcoast vibes. The call & response and open hat stomps were excellent tid-bits to mention. Got yourself a new subscriber
Amazing tutorial IIInfinite. With all honesty we're all inspired by other artist. To me this is all you and this is fire, all that bounce, and house feel got my attention. I salute you 100/10
I just wanna say as a producer u stand out .It’s like you have the knowledge of someone who’s well experienced but u explain it just right on a beginner level most people that give these tutorials will literally talk to u like u Dr.Dre like fam …ion know wth u talking bout 🤣
Great tutorial! Been looking to experiment with making west coast style beats and this is definitely helpful. Just a thought about how you describe call and response. Call and response to me is having two elements speaking to each other. Like if you had another lead filling in the gaps left by the lead line you had. Just a thought. That to me would be call and response. Cheers!
You the goat bro, I use logic pro x and your tips still be just as useful to me. Also that beat with the Sax took it to a whole different atmosphere! FIYAH
i love to see how you keep improving the quality of your tutorials :) is there a big difference between g funk west coast and west coast ? maybe from the placement of the chords or ?
Yes, g funk is just a certain genre Of west coast. There are many branches to “west coast” like LA west like yg, then u have your drakeo the ruler type of style then u have northern cali west coast which also have branches like certain Sacramento like a bris sound, a 2016 bay are style like SOB x RBE and then hyphy bay area like mac dre, e40 etc. g funk is just a certain style or branch but the umbrella of west coast is very diverse.
what you called call & response isn’t really call & response. you have a good idea but that empty area is where you would respond with another instrument. also you can mess with a synths adsr to get that pluck from their sub basses. you turn the attack down for the pluck and open up the filter to your taste. keep up the dope videos tho fam
Nice! Is there a major difference between pack 1 & 3? Wanna make sure i get the right one lol. I feel like pack 3 contains everything in 1&2 plus new stuff lol
Hey Illfinite. Can you direct me to a video or like a website for maybe like a cheat sheet for progressions even though I know beat making fluctuates with sounds

Yup! It’s an expansion pack for analog lab so you just need that vst. Or you could just use the one shots because I converted every preset!
